What they do when not at work ...

So what kinds of things to do you think the detectives do in their time off? I'll begin.

Vera - probably the type to kick back on a Sunday and watch all the football games on tv and drink beer.


Jeffries - sings in his church choir


Stillman - teaches a night class at a local university


Valens - drinking shots


Lilly - Wal Mart runs for cat litter and cat food and grocery shopping

Vera: Most likely hanging out a bar.

Stillman: Probably goes home or to see family.

Jeffries: Does the same as Stillman.

Scotty: Christina.

Lily: She doesn't go home. Except to feed her cats and sleep.

Vera: hang out at a bar or take some lady out for a good time .

Jeffries: visit family or just stay home. Can't picture him living alone, somehow. There's gotta be someone keeping him company...

Stillman: I can't for the life of me imagine what he'd do in his free time. Probably call his daughter. Maybe review cases.

Valens: Christina . Drown his problems in alcohol.

Lilly: play with her cats, maybe listen to music. Think about her recent case... A LOT. Can't even see her watching TV .

Vera: Watching sports and drinking at a bar

Jeffries: At church, watching TV at home, going out to dinner

Stillman: I cannot picture him anywhere but at work and the occasional visit with his daughter and grandson. I think he's working on cases even in his time off from work

Valens: At the gym or out jogging. I picture Scotty as a person who cares deeply about his family. Probably hangs out with his siblings and parents often

Lilly: At home with the cats, attending a classical concert or play, going out to dinner, reading a book. Like Disasterfreak, I CANNOT picture Lilly just sitting around the house or watching TV

Vera: Cleaning his guns, Bowling, Avoiding his wife.


Jeffries: Is in the "Big Brother" program.

Stillman: Fishing on his boat, Golfing, building things with wood.

Valens: working out at the local boxing gym, poker parties with his brothers, Sunday dinner at mom's house.

Lilly: Scrapbooking while watching "Lost". Jogging in the park, reading Romance novels.

This is a fun thread! Here are my guesses:

Vera - hangs out with his friends watching sports, plays poker with close friends, keeps the local bartender company.

Jeffries - involved in community activities, church.

Stillman - goes to the office on a Saturday because he can't find anything else to do.

Scotty - visits family, hangs with Chris, works out, plays with kids in his old neighborhood.

Lilly - reads, works on the cases, probably goes to the office on Saturday as well.
