Hehe, Sorry but I loved Lil's old partner Chris and so I HAD to open a thread about him.. ;D
I think that tati and disasterfreak know why, I am just annoying them I think...always talking about Chris at the moment..allright..*shuts mouth* ;D

About Chris: At first I did not really remember him anymore. I began watchin, really watching cold case when Scotty allready was Lils partner, just wondered because I had in mind that Scotty had not been there from the beginning and just wondered where the other guy had gone. Then I saw all reruns from the first 6 episodes and I have to admit..I want Chris back...but Scotty has to stay, too..lol..perhaps Scotty could stay as Lil's partner and Chris could visit them from time to time..allright...*tries to stop her dreams*

So, what do we know about Chris: He is married lol..I just remember that he smoked cigarretes and Lil just said something about it and he just answerded that she allready sounded like his wife..I think that he always wanted to protect Lil and he helped her with the Cold Cases without grumbling. Just remember that because Scotty wasn't that happy with the Cold Cases at first.
Chris has been in the first five episodes of season 1:

Gleen
Churchgoing People and
The Runner

In Love Conquers All, Scotty appeared the first time!

So he had diabetes and so he changed from active duty to office duty.

I wholeheartly agree with you janasam. I am a Chris Lassing character fan too. I don't know why the switch. It completely messed up the dynamics by the time Scotty came on board. I don't think I've ever recovered from it to be honest.

I also liked the Chris character but not as much as I like Scotty. Scotty has an edge to him I never saw in Chris. To be fair though, a few episodes with Chris wasn't enough time to get to know the character.

And I don't believe Chris appeared in "The Runner." He was just in "Look Again," "Gleen," and "Churchgoing People," from what I remember.

LOL. Janna is completely in love with Chris Lassing. I can understand you, dear, just by looking at these pictures... and you're not annoying me at all...

Anyway, my thoughts about Chris:
When I first watched CC, he was already gone and Scotty was there. So, I could never really care about him. But I don't think that the change of partners affected the show that much. Actually, when I first watched a Chris Lassing episode (it was Churchgoing People) I didn't even realize he wasn't Scotty. LOL.
I think we saw too little of him to have a good opinion of how he was as a detective and as a person. He seemed really nice though.

I knew I had heard about Justin being in a new series but when I checked his imdb page yesterday, it wasn't there. Very odd. But anyway, the preview video looks good so I'll have to check out the premiere.

You're not annoying me at all, don't you dare ever say that again (besides, who could be annoyed with those pictures??). Unfortunately I don't remember enough of Chris Lassing to have an opinion about him . His eps are among the missing in my mind (you who are familiar with me know there's a big black hole there...). I'm glad you started this thread around here.

I remember him a little bit. From what I do remember, he didn't have as large of a role as Scotty. I've also seen Justin in "The Wedding Planner" where he played a much different character. He seems to be a good actor, and he's quite adorable!

I've figured out why the new show, "Grey's Anatomy," is not listed in any of Justin's credits. He was a last minute cast addition to that show. I wonder who he replaced? Here's the link to an article at zap2it, with a few details about the show (and where I got the last mnute addition info). Remember, the show premieres tomorrow at 10:00pm on ABC.
