Just in case anyone's interested, I've just asked KM the following question: Is it true you sometimes get into the CC forums on the internet and, if so, what do you think of them?

the cbs site has a new ad for cold case. it's quite nice. it's a mix of different scenes. i don't know where some of the lines are from though. just thought i'd let everyone know.

Thanks for the heads-up a2z. That is a combo of scenes from both seasons. My guess is that they don't have a preview ready for the next new episode so they put together the multiple clips for the next couple of weeks.

Interesting clip. Thanks, Irishkale! BTW, anyone know what song it is they play in the background? Sounds like ES Posthumus, but I don't think they do vocals. Still, I guess it's easy as pie to add voices (like they did with Nara). The singng sounds like the Libera boys' choir in London. But I could be so wrong.

Good day everyone,

So, what does everyone think about this question? I voted "Yes - Scott and Lil are at an impasse." They have been growing further apart the last few episodes it seems, and I think they are getting resentful against each other.

I could very well be wrong on this, but I do not see them working together on any personal level this season. Just my opinion, but I was just curious as to what everyone else thought. Thanks, and take care today.

I also voted yes, Scotty and Lilly are at an impasse. They haven't really communicated with each other for a number of episodes and it will take a lot for them to get back to the way they used to be. Scotty's work ethic has gone down the drain and Lilly's just disgusted by the whole thing. I hope that they can get past this but I don't see that happening in the near future unless one of them really tries to make the partnership work.

It's Hard To Say because Stillman may have taken Scotty away from Lilly until he gets himself back together. I have no idea if Lilly can patch it up with Scotty. It's really Lilly being angry so she's the one that has to come to some realizations.

For the rest of this season at least, I think that Scotty and Lilly are at an impasse. I think we'll continue to see them be civil to each other, but I don't see much in the way of friendship for the remainder of this season. I agree with Naj that really it's Lilly that needs to figure out whether or not she wants to stay mad at Scotty (and we all know she can hold a grudge, just ask Christina). I don't see her changing any thing anytime soon.

Wow the rest of the season! Ya think, TV? I think after Scotty gets his act together Stillman will make Lilly get hers together. Although, initially, the other detectives asked Scotty not to go there which leads me to believe they are on Lilly's side. Like, "don't upset Lilly's apple cart". And the question is "WHY"? Why are they protecting her?

I can only think of two reasons:

1. They know what happened 9 years ago and it's really bad, totally justifying her behavior. Don't think this one's too likely, cuz Lilly wouldn't have been so panicked at Scotty finding out if everyone already knew.

2. They've seen her break down before in a similar situation, and it's not pretty. Not sure I like this one, either, but they're all I can think of at the moment.

I don't think I like either of the situation, but I'm drawing a blank here. I agree with TVFan that they won't make it back to being friends this season, but I still hope that they'll pull themselves together soon. I liked their relationship before Christina showed up, and I would certainly want to see it again.

I think they may patch things up after The Woods, if the situation gets really extreme. At least Scotty would soften for sure if Lilly were in any real danger, and once he took the first step, it might be easier for Lil to give in. All they really need is to have a good, long talk to straighten things out, as Naj and TVFanmentioned. Because as long as Lilly goes around thinking Scotty knows her whole dirty little secret, she won't go within a mile of him. And as long as Scotty thinks she's being a stubborn, unreasonable b*, he won't go anywhere near her, either.
