hey i'm new to the board but i've been watching CC for a while... did they ever mention kite's first name? i was checkin' thefutoncritic for maternal instincts... it said that kite's name was jason... <confused>

Kite's first name has been one of the biggest misteries of CC. I went to the futon critic site and it does says "ADA Jason Kite", but they never mentioned it on the show... actually, Kite does not appear on "Maternal Instincts" (though I've seen his name credited for this episode in more than one site). Weird.
ok, edited because I found one more weird thing on the futon critic's listing. The last name on the cast list is "Lilly Rush (Age 17): Stephenie Pearson". I wonder if they had different plans for this episode before.... making a parallel between Sean and Lilly... I can't believe they changed their mind!!! :rant:

I can't believe they changed their mind!!! ![]() Welcome a2z :welcome: I don't believe Kite's first name has never been mentioned on the show so it's anyone's guess although I have seen it in writing numerous times as Jason. Thefutoncritic get it's episode descriptions and cast lists directly from CBS for each ep. Sometimes CBS releases this information up to a month before the airdate and as InsideR has mentioned on this board, the final broadcast version of the episode we see is not fully completed till a few days before airing, long after the public get's to see the episode synopsis and cast list. Some storylines and guest characters end up wiped out altogether which appears to be what happened in maternal instincts. |

That would have been awesome. Although we didnt get to see it then, i believe it was mentioned that a flashback of Lilly might appear in a future episode? :dunno:

This is very interesting. It sounds like they were planning on exploring more of Lilly's past in "Maternal Instincts" than was eventually put on the air. I hope they delve into this subject further, particularly having a younger Lilly, in future episodes. It sounds like Kite's first name is probably Jason. I wonder why it's never been used on the show? Weird.

Well this really sucks. My latest fan fic supplied a fictional explanation for his nickname and gave him a different first name.
