Who was the actor that played Lily's first partner? The reason why I was asking is because if it's who I think it is then I have something interesting to share about him. It's nothing bad but it's interesting though.

I was right!!!! It was Justin Chambers.
Let me tell you the story.....well, first of all Justin Chambers is from my hometown. I ended up meeting him this past week at the Relay for Life (cancer walk) and I have to say that I was not impressed.
At the walk, I kept hearing folks talk about him and getting his autograph and I didn't know who he was at first. Then I saw him and said "he looked like the guy from Cold Case" but everyone around me just looked at me like I was some kind of monster. A lady said "no, he's on "Grey's Anatomy" and I said "well, he was on "Cold Case"first. He was Lily's first partner." No one would even respond to what I was saying so I thought maybe I was wrong but I wasn't.
To make this story short and, well for me at least interesting, is the fact the no one around him, the fans, the newspaper reporter, etc, wouldn't even acknowledged that he was even on the show, "Cold Case". That is so unusual because when someone from my area makes it big or is doing something in Hollywood all of their work is listed, but for some strange reason "Cold Case" wasn't listed. Folks around here acted like he was never even on the show. Now,I want to know why there was no acknowledgment of "Cold Case" as being part of his resume. I'm sure it's listed on his bio but why it wasn't listed in my town I don't have a clue.

wow that's really cool that you got to see him! i think that probably, since he was only on 2 or 3 episodes, that they don't really consider it that important... he wasn't really on any of the promotional ads and pretty much most people will always know Scotty as being lilly's partner.

Strange... maybe people in your hometown aren't into Cold Case? Or maybe he played it down himself. That's too bad, though--I'd be so proud of being on Cold Case, I'd blab it out to the world (unless he was kicked out disgracefully or something).
This is gonna kill Jannasam. She loves Justin Chambers.

The area I live in is very strange. Around here, they try to find a connection to anything. Seriously, just name it and they will find a connection. Example: they had to find a connection to Dale Earnhart after he died and they also had to find a connection to Columbine. They don't care if your in a B movie and you're only in it for 5 seconds, they are talk about it. It's like they want to show how people can get out of this stupid town and become stars.
For me, it's strange that they never mentioned "Cold Case". Of course, maybe he told everyone not to talk about it but I wouldn't know why he would do that, unless he'd left on bad terms. Didn't InsidR say something about him before?

Tracylynn: InsidR did mention it briefly. She wasn't at liberty to go into details but said there were problems with him. Why weren't you impressed with him?

I don't know why I wasn't really impressed with him. I guess it was just the vibe I got from him. He didn't seem nasty or mean in any way but at the same time he didn't seem to be overly nice either. It was like he had the attitude of "I'm here but I want out of this place". I guess it just didn't feel right. Does this make any sense? I hope so because it's hard to explain "the vibe".

I think I get it. Was it a "I'm pretending to be just like you guys but deep down I know I'm better" or a "I'm trying really hard to look like I'm enjoying this but it's just business and the sooner it's over good riddance" kinda thing? LOL, I know they're different vibes. But they're both just as subtly annoying. Too bad  . |
