March 29 Show Did Someone Get It?

Someone please help me out. I tivo'd the March 29 show and have replayed it 3 times and don't get it.

The beginning of the show is about a high school track star, which I believe was in a former show.

The next thing you know it cuts to a story about a guy driving over a guy that had passed out.

How are the two related..? I have watched it 3 times and it is driving my crazy. Did they accidentally splice a repeat to a new show?

You must live on the West Coast. I heard others complaining about this and they live in CA. I live on the East Coast, and everything was fine here. Apparently, CBS messed up the West Coast show and spliced a repeat together with the new episode that we here on the East Coast saw. The first part of the show that you saw was a repeat of "Love Conquers Al" about Paige Pratt's murder. The second part was the new episode "Resolutions" about a man who was killed on New Year's Eve. It was a goof by CBS. I hope this helps.

I definltely missed out on what happened as well. I was watching Whale Rider and decided to shift over to CBS at 8:30 instead of waiting for it all to tape. And the show was just coming on! Good timing for me, I guess.
