According to USA Today, it is indeed a record.

Looks like more good news for Cold Case. Sweeps month officially ended yesterday, and CBS came out ahead, not only in total viewers, but also in the coveted 18-49 year old demo. It's the first time since the early 80s for CBS!! Anyway, USAToday.com has an article on CBS's sweeping success last month. There's a mention about CC as well: FULL ARTICLE

I'm not going to include the reruns in the first ratings post, but I thought you guys would be interested to know how "Boy in the Box" did last night. It posted a 9.3/14, good enough for 2nd for the hour. ABC's presentation of "The Five People You Meet in Heaven" won the hour.

Discretion lowest showing this season but still above 14 million. Too many Christmas parties? shopping? Very late showing due to football. I do watch some football but that's not my complaint. The games should start at 12:30pm because that would make all the difference that 30 minutes. ~Naj

I blame the late start. It didn't start until around 8:50pm (east coast), and at that point, all the Desperate Housewives fans are already committed to watching that show instead. In fact, Desperate Housewives was the most watched show last week.

Discretion lowest showing this season but still above 14 million. Too many Christmas parties? shopping? Very late showing due to football. My guess is it was too close to Christmas for a new ep. Regular viewers were busy with holiday things and possible new viewers did not have time to watch TV. That being said, over 14 million viewers is still excellent.

Just an addendum to "Time to Crime's" ratings... From USA Today: It's good to see that the show is (hopefully) starting to pick up some of its early season steam.

Looks like CC is still up there. It will be interesting to get the actual numbers for "Revolution" since the show was in reruns for a spell.

Note About this thread:
There seems to be a problem with this sticky thread. Only the mods can post to it since there is no "reply" button. I have stickied and unstickied several times and then ran a test on it. It's obviously a ProBoard's problem. Hopefully the upcoming upgrade will solve this.
/me Until this is resolved only mods seem to be able to post a remark in this thread. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I worked on the thread, and it seems to be working again for members. Sorry for the inconvenience everyone. Also, just a side note to "Schadenfreude's" excellent ratings. The source I get the weeklys from (USA Today) ranks the shows based on total viewers. CC came in 5th, but other sites list the shows based on their rating point (which networks use), and CC came in third right behind two episodes of American Idol, making it the number one scripted show of the week (based on ratings points)!!! Granted it was a week dominated by reruns, but it's still an impressive showing.
