1. The Wallflowers - One headlight 2. The Verve - Freshman 3. Collective Soul - December 4. The Dave Matthew's Band - (I don't know the song, but I'm sure it was the DMB) 5. Goo Goo Dolls - Name This was a case where I recognized the songs back when I was 12 - 16, but for the life of me could not figure out the name of some of them. I did like this eps soundtrack though. Very awesome.

Didn't the song by the Goo Goo Dolls come out more recently in the 00's range, the rest I remember from when I was ten years old back in '96.

I don't believe so. I remember hearing that song way back in 96, and 97 also. I believe it came out before "Iris" which came out in 1998/1999

"Name" is a single from the Goo Goo Dolls' album, A Boy Named Goo. A Boy Named Goo is an album by the Goo Goo Dolls, released in 1995 on Warner Brothers Records. The song, the band's first hit, topped both the US Modern Rock and the US Mainstream Rock charts, and reached as high as number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. Until the release of Dizzy Up the Girl three years later, "Name" was by far the band's most popular and well known song. This was "quite accidentally," according to lead singer Johnny Rzeznik. He wrote it as a love ballad, reflecting his childhood as an orphan. More info HERE
