It was good and I was familiar with some of the songs that were played. Those songs were of that time period and some of the young ones wouldn't be familiar with them. Satchamo (sp?) lot of jazz songs. I didn't know all of them.

I gave it OKAY. I wasn't familiar and don't particulary care for 40's and 50's music. I wasn't noticing the underscore.

Opening Song: Big Bill Broonzy - Sixteen Tons Nate dies: Son House - John The Revelator Donovan fights with Mateo: Hank Williams - Move It On Over Donovan enters the diner: Louis Jordan - Buzz Me Donovan tells Alice that he doesn't love her: Louis Armstrong - That Lucky Old Sun And the closing was Louis Armstrong - I Wonder
I guess that the music form the bar scene wasn't "important" enough to make it to the soundtrack....
CBS has the soundtrack up.

Agree about the opening song and the end song - I Wonder was played several times in this ep.
Song 2nd flashback was a traditional, John The Revelator, but no idea who sung it here.
Not sure about the song in the fight scene.
And then there was Buzz Me by Louis Jordan
Interesting, it was like the music was quite in the background this time, first time watching I paid not much attention. Only "I wonder" was pointed out - in a nice way. Did they ever did that in any ep before like this? Some good underscore I think as well, so all in all I give it good.

Best Friends was like that with the music as I remember. Thanks for the songs. Hi Pixie!Thank you for posting what you know. I have no clue on this one.
