HEY! While doing research for the DVD site, I think I found the name of the woman that does the scream at the start of the show! Read this interview with Cold Case composer Michael A. Levine: www.scoremagacine.com/Entrevistas_eng_det.php?Codigo=29"...there was a fantastic woman playing the piano and singing, named Elise Morris. Many years later she sang the distinctive vocal introduction to the “Cold Case“ theme for me." |

yeah that is ironic...I think the scream is cool, because it's unique and different, like when you hear that scream, you KNOW it's Cold Case...it's not like all of those other sound-alike showtunes

haha i've always wondered this because i've heard the song many times used in other shows or previews and i never heard the scream. it's cool.

Thanks Boxman! Incidentally, does anyone have the version of the song that's used in the opening montage? Complete with scream? I love the entire song (actually, the entire album by ES Posthumus it's off) but was just wondering if anyone could cut a version from the show for me.

Great find boxman!  You know, my alarm clock has broken a while ago. Since then I'm using my cell phone to set the alarm and I chose this song for it. Am such a poor riser, but this song with scream definitely does a good job to force me to jump out of the bed.   |
