The three songs I recognize in tonight's eppy is available on the "Pure Moods" series of compilations, heavily advertised on TV at about the time of Anna's murder:
Opening Scene: Massive Attack, "Teardrop" (1998) -- Pure Moods II
Anna & Father Peralta scene: Mono, "Life in Mono" (1996) -- Pure Moods III
Closing Montage: Enigma, "Return to Innocence" (1993) -- Pure Moods I

I only recognized the closing song and the one in the church with Ana and Father Peralta (I believe it was used in the Ethan Hawke/Gwyneth Paltrow film "Great Expectations", which not-so-coincidently came out in 1998). Thanks for giving us the titles boxman!

Does anyone know which version of Massive Attack's "Teardrops" was used in this episode? There appears to be more than one version of this song. Thanks.

From what I remember, they were usually first advertised on television as a mail-order item, then subsequently released to retail stores later. In the order that the music was presented: Pure Moods II was copyrighted in 1997 and released to retail in November 1998. The opening song, "Teardrops" is on this CD. As the episode starts with a flashback to September 28, 1998, this reference to Pure Moods II is already slightly in error. Pure Moods III was copyrighted in 2000, and released to retail in February 2001. Pure Moods was copyrighted in 1994 (?), and released to retail in April 1997. There is also a "Pure Moods IV" and other variations too, but to my knowledge music from other discs were not included in this episode--just the first three.
