Here's a list of popular 1983 songs. www.afn.org/~afn30091/1983.htmlI'm going to go out on a limb and say they will use, "It's Raining Men," by the Weather Girls. With my luck, they probably won't. Other hopes: "Do you really want to hurt me," by Culture Club. "Down under," by Men At Work. "Love is a battlefield," by Pat Benatar. "Faithfully," by Journey. "Baby, come to me," by Patti Austin and James Ingram. "Making love out of nothing at all," by Air Supply. "Never gonna let you go," by Sergio Mendes. "True," by Spandeau Ballet. And one of my favorites, "What about me," by Moving Pictures. I love that song.

Here are my guesses for the songs. Opening Song: It's Raining Men (For some reason, it has to be the opener. I keep thinking of In Living Color though)
Stand Back by Stevie Nicks Too Shy by Kajagoogoo Love is a Battlefield by Pat Benatar Sweet Dreams by Eurhythmics
Final Song: Time (Clock of the Heart) by Culture Club or Do You Really Want to Hurt Me. It could go either way.

I'm just gonna name some songs and see if any are in the show.
Lies - Thompson Twins The Look Of Love - ABC Poison Arrow - ABC Wishing - A Flock of Seagulls Breaking Us In Two - Joe Jackson In A Bag Country - Big Country Promises, Promises - Naked Eyes Always Something There To Remind Me - Naked Eyes Do You Really Want To Hurt Me? - Culture Club Too Shy - Kajagoogoo Love Is A Battlefield - Pat Benatar Suddenly Last Summer - The Motels Overkill - Men At Work True - Spandau Ballet
I know that's a lot of songs but I couldn't make up my mind. LOL

Here are my guesses: Like everyone else, I'm going with the obvious "It's Raining Men." I was going to go with "Total Eclipse of the Heart" and "True" (Spandau Ballet), but I just checked our music affiliate and they were both used in "Gleen." So, I'm going with: "Allentown" by Billy Joel (just cause the PA link) "Africa" by Toto (just cause I'm a big dork and love this song) "Making Love out of Nothing at All" by Air Supply (just seems like a good ending song) I'm sure I will get them all wrong as usual. foujylos.notlong.com [/IMG]

I thought "True" had been used before but I couldn't remember. "Total Eclipse" I did remember that song being used.
I would have to say "Africa" by Toto is a good song. Add that to my list.

Why do I get the feeling that the songs they will use will be from another year?

Hummer was right on with his predictions for "Who's your Daddy?" so I wonder if the same will be true for this ep.. If so, I will be happy with the song selections, mainly because I will have gotten two of my predictions correct, "Every Breath You Take," and "It's Raining Men."

Except that I'm revising my prediction to dump Joy Division and the Police in favor of Our House-Madness Time After Time- Cyndie Lauper I wouldn't mind "Time after Time." Definately seems like the type of song that would be used in CC but I would miss hearing "Every Breath You Take."

I'm glad Hummer is right because it gets too distracting to listen to the song and write it down. I don't think any of the songs I thought would be played were. I loved the Billy Idol choice though.

What was the name/artist of the last song, the one as the wedding was taking place and the show ended?

Welcome Happygolucky! I believe the song you are referring to was "When I'm With You" by Sheriff (according to Hummer .

I think Hummer knows something that we don't know. Two episodes where he got the songs correct. Tell us your secret, Hummer. Please!

I think Hummer knows something that we don't know. In a previous post on the spoilers thread, Hummer said he knows someone who has a friend who works on CC.
