According to CBS's web site, the year for this one is 1989, but I think the commercials are saying 1990. Anyway, here's some lists for both years. Any guesses? 19891990From 1989, I'm going to guess "Lost in Your Eyes" by Debbie Gibson (b/c the plot seems to revolve around teeneage girls and a sleepover), "Listen to Your Heart" by Roxette, and "In the Living Years" by Mike and the Mechanics. From 1990, I'm guessing "Free Fallin" by Tom Petty and "I Wish it would Rain Down" by Phil Collins (simply b/c CC likes rain and songs about rain).

I'm hoping for "Free Fallin," an old favorite of mine. Also, my other guesses are "Nothing compared to you" by Sinead O'connor and "Hold On," by Wilson Phillips, "Heart of Stone" by Taylor Dayne, "I'll see you in my dreams" by Giant.

I agree with you, Naj. Those two songs I would like to hear, especially "Toy Soldiers" because I think that song is so pretty.
I know this song won't be on there but I will like to hear it in an episode and that is "Look Away" by Chicago.
Here are some other songs from 1989 that might be good to hear. "Every Rose Has It's Thorn" "Cold Hearted" "She Drives Me Crazy" "The Promise" "When The Children Cry" "Miss You Much"

You're good Naj and Tracylynn, getting "Toy Soldiers," right. I, of course, was wrong with all my song guesses. No surprise there.

Sorry Guess I was at the wrong forum earlier. I'm looking for the name of the Edie Brickel song that was featured in "The Sleepover".

The name of the song is "Circle" by Edie Brickell, from the CD, "Shooting Rubberbands at the Stars."

Even though "Toy Soldiers" came from 1989 it was a perfect song for that epsiode. It fit in so perfectly. It almost made me cry.

Tracylynn I'm kinda fuzzy on this but weren't there two versions of "Toy Soldiers"? Once by "Martika? (sp) and then someone else did a remake? I haven't researched it but I liked Martika's version the best. ~Naj
