Your capacity for spot-on characterisation never fails to astound me, and I absolutely loved the insights in this; it's so awesome to see someone else give their perspective on the Lilly/Scotty/Christina mess. Plus, y'know, I'm a total sucker for letting Vera get his introspection on, and you do it so well. So, yea... needless to say, much love for this'un.

;D Hey, thanks!! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I just adore Vera, so I had fun writing this one. And I'm one of the few who can actually stomach the Lilly/Scotty/Christina thing, mostly because I've thought (obsessed?) about it enough to the point that I can understand where everybody's coming from. Not that I like it, necessarily, but it's rich fodder for writing. Thanks for the review!

Okay, Collider basically said everything I wanted to say, but yeah. This is awesome. It's nice to see a fic surrouding a character that isn't Lil or Scotty (not that I don't love fics about them, just saying, change is nice sometimes). This really was spot on, and the different perspective was interesting.

I might just have to make time to check out your other stuff.
