What is the surprise is Scotty waiting to show Lilly? Hint it has something to do with a horse.

One cold October night Lilly felt the crisp winds blowing through her hair, while making her way home. Inside she was thinking about her childhood dream which wasn’t something anyone would have thought. What people didn’t know was that she was craving to have that freedom that this dream contained.

Just two days later as Lilly stepped out of the car walking in the distance her eyes lit up. Scotty came out riding a horse causing her to laugh.
“Get on Birthday girl” he said before she got on. Taking the rope into her hands Lilly felt this surge of happiness as the horse began to walk. A little while later she enjoyed feeling the cool October Pennsylvania winds running through her long blonde hair.

“Since when did you know I wanted to do this” Lilly asked
Scotty smiled” Didn’t but kinda wanted to see you happy” before planted a kiss on her cheek. After he helped her off Lilly the two leaned closer as their lips pressed against each other. With hearts racing and love blossoming she knew somehow it felt right.

Their kiss was interrupted by feeling a horse making a sound. Lilly smiled as she began to pet it “ Hey you”.
“Think she likes you Lil” he said.
Just standing there watching how Lilly interacted with the horse he could see how gentle she was. He wondered about her being a mother hoping one day she could have that chance. Now leading the horse back to the barn as the worker closed the door. Still Lilly remained there holding some straw for it to eat.

“C’mon beautiful” Scotty said as they walked out hand in hand noticing the stars in the sky.

Lilly looked up at them for moment” Thanks for doing this”.

He smiled” Love you” before the two embraced underneath the moonlight. During the car ride home she sat there happy yearning to ride that horse again. Maybe this is what made her happy just riding on it.

Somehow she took some riding lessons before being able to ride one by herself. When Lilly did she chose the same horse. Now riding in the Pennsylvania wilderness everything went out of her mind including work. Once there the horse began galloping as she felt a burst of happiness that being waiting to be unleashed for some time.

Another afternoon Scotty stood at the stable watching her return. Just seeing how free Lilly looked before he moved closer to her.

Now throwing a box up to her Lilly caught it as her breath was nearly taken away. Inside was a small diamond ring as she turned towards him. His eyes were full of love and devotion as Lilly got off the horse before he placed it down her finger.

As their lips came together they both felt the cool October winds sweeping past them. Later on after returning back from horseback riding the two walking around in FDR Park. Maybe this was right to be with Scotty since the two were discovered that they had many things in common besides work.

“Don’t guess Lil” he said as Lilly tried to figure out how he found out what her childhood dream was. Then again she was surprised that Scotty did this all for her. Even that night when they rode around together was quite magical.

This wasn’t the end of the October nights, but the beginning of them.

I love horses. Did I mentioned before I have a caringpony myself? But she's a Shetland, so she's not very big.

Good thing, Lilly rides. Riding on a horse gives a feeling of freedom. Like you can fight against the whole world!
You're so high and underneath is moving a big, sweet, good horse.
It feels great!
Lilly needs that.

I love horses too and have always wanted to own one. It does give you a sense of freedom. Great story really loved what you got so far.
