Well here's what I have. What do you all have?
1. Culture Club "Karma Chameleon" 2. Journey "Separate Ways" 3. Talk Talk "It's My Life" 4. Tears for Fears "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" 5. Repeat Culture Club 6. ? Teddy in bar scene rap song ? 7. Thompson Twins? "In The Name Of Love" 8. ZZ Top "Dark Dressed Man" 9. Tina Turner "Better Be Good To Me" 10. Don Henley "Dirty Laundry" 11, Cyndi Lauper "All Through The Night"
Is this a record for songs in an episode?

I think that was a record for songs in an episode. They were all good though (brought back some memories for me!). I didn't know the name of the song rap song either, but the guy rapping sounded like Eddie Murphy.
Anyone else agree??

The rap song was definetly by Kurtis Blow. I looked up his songs around that time, I'll do a recheck and submit all the songs to TVTome. Good working finding them, I'll see if they'll credit you over there.

Er, hello, everyone . . .
I did some research by watching the Cold Case episode in question, and I can tell you that the rap song used was NOT Kurtis Blo; it was actually the song "White Lines" by Grandmaster Flash.
Don't hurt me, I'm just trying to help you get the correct songs here. ^^;
EDIT: Also, the Thompson Twins song was actually "Lay Your Hands on Me", not "In The Name of Love."
So, that would mean that the song list would be these songs, listed in the order they were used:
"Karma Chameleon" - Culture Club "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)" - Journey "It's My Life" - Talk Talk "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" - Tears For Fears "Karma Chameleon" - Culture Club (Repeat) "White Lines" - Grandmaster Flash "Lay Your Hands On Me" - The Thompson Twins "Sharp Dressed Man" - ZZ Top "Better Be Good To Me" - Tina Turner "Dirty Laundry" - Don Henley "All Through The Night" - Cyndi Lauper
