"Look Again":
"On a lighter note, the 27-year old murder of Philidelphia resident Jill Shelby was solved recently by detective Lilly Rush, who says she finds a deeper meaning in solving cases from the past. The perpetrators, one Todd and Eric Whitley, were charged today for murder and accesory of Jill Shelby"
"Gleen":
"Today, local firefighter Robert Deamer was arrested from a restaurant for the 20-year old murder of his wife.
He confessed packing a bomb in a box of Gleen detergent and calling his wife to lead her to it. Although the original suspect was Albert Miller, a convicted sex offender, detective Lilly Rush managed to find the real culprit. We can only hope this hard-working cop will continue her streak."
"Our Boy Is Back":
"Yesterday afternoon, Carl Staugh was arrested for the 1998 murder of a Gail Chamayo, and the rape of 3 other women. The original detective assigned to the cases, Nick Vera, was seen to be extremely relieved as his partner, Lilly Rush found the predator. No one knows just how this woman does it, but we here at the Philidelphia Enquirer are all confident she will do much more."
"Churchgoing People":
"Lilly Rush has done it again. In a shocker of the century, the wife of church organist Mitchell Bayes, Charlotte, was arrested after 14 years of freedom for the murder of her husband in 1990. It was a secret kept by Charlotte and her son, and the emotional toll must've been crushing. Now that son, Ryan, and daughter, Tina, have been reunited, there can be peace in this broken family."
"The Runner":
"Early this morning, Mason Tucker, was arrested for the murder of a policeman, Joe Washington, 30 years after the crime took place. Although cop-killers are most often frowned upon in the world of the PPD, Lilly Rush and her partner showed restraint in the church Tucker was arrested in. The woman that re-opened the case, Samantha Robbins, was also relieved, as she was a close friend of Washington when he was murdered. Rush again outdoes herself in this regard."
