Last weekend I saw Hot Fuzz, a police-based comedy from the people that made Shaun Of The Dead. I'm not sure it will do well outside the UK but it is very funny. Lol RichE - saw the previews for that the other day. It looks hella funny! Can't wait to see that and Wild Hogs. The one with William H Macy and John Travolta and Tim Allen and Martin Lawrence. Thats the one isn't it?

Hannibal Rising and Ghost Rider Both of them were okay, but if I were the director, I'd make them darked and much more misterious. But leather jackets and the motorcycles on fire in Ghost Rider were pretty cool, I think

Yesterday I watched The Queenand I just loved it. What an amazing performance by Helen Mirren. I read an article somewhere saying that after Mirren's portrayal of the Queen, the real queen would seem phony to many people, and that's true. It's a great movie.

I agree with you, Tati. She did a great job playing the queen. I am glad she was given Oscar for this role, but still I kept my fingers crossed for Meryl Streep a bit too

It's a pity that only one person can win, there are so many great artists out there.. hard to say which one is the best.

Anyone saw Borat? It was very funny but not as much as I expected from the trailers. Still, some of the scenes were incredible!

I recently saw "Children of Men," and it was amazing! Definitely a must see. Ahh.... Coming out on DVD this Tuesday, the 27th!! I missed it at the theater. It's nice to hear you enjoyed it. I'm definitely picking this one up! Borat!!!! Man, I couldn't get over the whole swimsuit thing. Pure genious on behalf of Sacha B Cohen. But seriously, I still get nightmares! Ha ha ha.... I just saw it a few nights ago!! It's one of the most funniest movies I've seen in a long time!! ;D ;D ;D

I want to see it; haven't gotten around to it yet. I love British humour!!!
So I haven't been to the movies in so long that I can't remember what I last saw (I think it may have been Happy Feet... And that's nearly out on dvd) -- so what the hell am I doing in this forum? Just wondering if anyone's seen Running with Scissors? I absolutely loved the book and I freaking adore weird-arse movies but my cinema isn't getting it in so I'm going to have to wait for the dvd damnit! I want to see Meet the Robinsons... might go see that tonight.

Freedom Writers with Hilary Swank. Good movie about racial tension and their brawls and how they overcome their differences and all that.

I went and saw perfect stranger a few weeks back. Was a bit trepidatious because it didn't get very well rated but it was a great movie! Totally loved it. Bruce willis gave the right amount of creepy to it and halle berry had some b!tchin' shoes. Eyes are a big theme through it and because my friend and I have a habit of getting to the theatres after the doors are shut we wondered all through the opening credits if we were in the right place! Really worth watching tho. Meanwhile I got running with scissors for my ipod... Not quite the book but it was good and the actors were great.

Well, i've seen Georgia Rule (Lindsay Lohan is really slutty in that one, no joke, she actually plays a girl that is one) AND, I've seen Spiderman 3, which I must say I really liked, I liked it better than the second one. Nice action packed movie.
