anyone out there knowing/watching the show?
if yes, what do you think about it?

i´m a fan since the 1st episode. don´t know why, what´s special about this show? no clue, i just like it...

First of all, Welcome to the boards! And yes, i love alias! Been watching it since episode one. It rocks. I've missed a few this season, but I love the Lauren/Sark storyline. I'm so glad shes evil.

lol... i think everyone is, but now there´s a possibility for a s/v-reunion (which i really don´t like)...

I didn't watch this from the start I think I watched it half way though or maybe before then...but I'm totally hooked although Alias got messed around here when channel 4 had the rights it was perfect as the day (Sunday) and time was perfect then when we had cable and sky one showed season 2 I watched it until they messed it around showing it at midnight I wasn't too happy then channel 5 had it showed it had 8 pm perfect then they too begun to show it at midnight....now in it's third season Bravo have the rights are it's perfect although the amount of breaks annoy me it's like very 10 mintues!
I was kinda of dissapointed with the season premire but as the more episodes aired it begun to get better last night's episode show Syd and Lauren in a car chase.....

Damn, I love this season 3 has been okay but it's gotten alot better I'm not sure which episode we're on in the UK but they just found out that Syd was the one whom killed that old man (I'm no good with names) and next week looks brilliant as they are going to try and break her out...stupid Lauren lol.

the one when syd gets infected with this virus-like drug which makes her go crazy and she tries to shoot my beloved vaughn, really good episode. i found the new setup really strange at the start but now i think its probably going to lead to something amazing, i just dont trust sloane and think that his involvement with APO is going to be part of his 'masterplan'

ooh I think I missed that episode, but I do remember hearing about it from my friends... we're a lot more ahead so I won't spoil you, but when you get caught up it will be fun to talk about it... and I've seen pretty much every episode of the season, so I can def. talk about those with you!

CC fan- you dont by any chance remember what happened in the episode before the one i mentioned? i missed it though i read a little synopsis of it but it just said that syd and vaughn posed as a married couple and that was basically all.
i hate missing an episode of this show, you never know if you're going to miss something really important or not. last season i was unfortunate to miss the epi where Lauren/her ma offs her dad...i'm still bitter about it!

Cheers for that! i can't believe i missed that, sounds like it was a cool and possibly important episode (the jack/sloane stuff) elena derevko? i dont remember an elena being mentioned before, though i do have the memory of a goldfish so thats not entirely surprising! ;D

I loved the ep were Syd and Vaughn went undercover as a married couple! Great stuff!

I was hoping that one of you could help me out. I just started watching Alias this season when they moved it to the post LOST timeslot (another J.J. Abrams show I love). I'm loving Alias, but I don't know what Rombaldi (sp) is. Can either of you explain it to me? I just know that Sloane is obsessed with it.

Forgive me if this wasn't from last night's ep. I just watched the past two weeks' episodes and last night's in a two day span. Anyway, the part where they had Syd pretend to be her mother so they could get Jack to tell them where he stashed the doctor, was just the coolest. It was so touching too. I loved how Sydney got to hear how much she means to her Dad. I also didn't see the whole twist with the doctor's visit being in Jack's mind. Great stuff!!

rambaldi is this inventor, they call him a 'prophet' because his designs and inventions were so ahead of his times (14th or 15th century). i mean REALLY ahead of his time, fancy weapons etc. each season has had the Rambaldi thread running through it.

to go into all the details would take forever, but there are lots of connections betweeen Rambaldi and Sydney, Irina D., Nadia and Sloane. at the end of the 3rd series, nadia gets injected with Rambaldi fluid and acts as a 'conduit' and writes down this big equation which was supposed to lead to some big deal. Sloane and Nadia then went off to find it together, i dont think its been revealed what they found yet, but its still early 4th series so they might do so in a later episode, or if it has been talked about i've forgotten!

Hope this helps with the Rambaldi question, what you really should do is get yourself down to the shop and treat yourself to the dvds, such a brilliant series right from the beginning.

Thanks vaughnsgirl. That makes much more sense now. I just joined Netflix (through-the-mail DVD rentals), and I've been renting the first season of American Dreams because I've heard good things about it (never seen the show before). After I finish, I'll have to rent the Alias season DVDs. Thanks for the recommendation!

Wow really isnt he the farther of Sydney Baby, ive only seen the first season because they started to put it on at 11.00 at night so i have missed the rest of it im thinking of buing it dvd though, is he gone or will he be comming back? isnt he the rambaldi guy?

I've only started watching this show recently (last season), so I'm pretty ignorant about the Rambaldi stuff. Vaughn is the father of Syd's baby, though. As far as him coming back.....[highlight to read spoiler]

I read on TVGuide.com that they just signed some big deal and Vartan is coming back. It didn't say in what copacity, so it could be a dream sequence or a flashback or his twin brother (if he has one) or some other reincarnation.

I'm really enjoying the new girl. She adds a lot to the show without taking away from the others.
