Top TenI knew they were always in last place with the CBS news but I had no idea. Maybe why Bruckheimer has a new show on ABC this fall?

Hi Naj! Ugh! I saw this last night, I wonder when we may hear on this more definitively. Who knows, I guess? I cannot believe they would let so many hit shows just go away on the network, but I did not even know they were in this bad of shape. Thanks again for your post, and have a great day, Naj!

I'm surprised that CBS is on this list over NBC, for example. For as much as everyone yells about how TV is a ratings game, and CBS does rather well in the ratings, it's mystifying that they are the failing company. Perhaps it is because so many of their shows are readily available online or are in reruns on other networks not owned by CBS itself.

Hm, not impossible to get a company down by rumors... Right, advertising business is having a hard time and CBS relies much on selling ad-time, most of their revenue for television is coming through advertising sales. Right as well, viewer ratings alone never tell how good a business is doing, ratings are numbers about viewers not about income / finances. CBS does make money selling the shows for syndication btw, you can bet stations have to pay for reruns. Possible though, they make not the best deals there, but somehow I doubt that. Not to count the revenue by selling shows all over the world. Revenue through the latter might though simply decrease somewhat already because of exchange rates. Of course, CBS doesn't agree with being on that list, their answer
