So, I've been getting into drawing ALOT recently this year. Currently, I am taking a P & D Course in my Junior year of High School. P & D stands for Painting and Drawing. I've done sketches of David Boreanaz before since I am obsessed with his godly features ;D. This was the first time I've ever done a Kathryn Morris sketch and it was fast. Nothing special, I don't really have any artistic shading tools with me at home unlike the tools I have at school. This is pretty rough and fast. I drew this in about 10 minutes. One of those speed drawings. Of course, this took about 3 tries of paper before I finally committed myself to it. Her freaking hair is a pain in the neck. This is why I do not love drawing women more often because their hairstyle is very wavy or curly or random in general. With a guy like David Boreanaz, his spiky hair is easy to do. So Bah!! Here's the scanned image, it slightly degraded the quality: *Note: 1. Click on Thumbnail 2. Once the window pops up, click on picture again 3. Another window pops up of the picture, click on it again because this time you can zoom in to see better Picture I used to base this from(I didn't bother to draw in all the star tattoos that she had):

Good job CBL!
Here's a cool trick to help you with sketches -- you take the photo you're sketching from, and turn it upside down! Then sketch it upside down. It helps you to see the "true shape" of lines & negative spaces. People have been using this trick for ages to copy of all things, Signatures. If you want to copy someone's signature, you turn the paper upside down and copy it upside down.

lol I know that trick My teacher always does it when she's helping me make slight modifications to a portrait drawing....usually the nose. Almost a lot of people have a hard time with the nose.

I did take a drawing class, I don't have that type of talent like you do. Mine looks like Kindergartners drew it.
