During the closing scenes of "The Runner" while "Lean on Me" is playing, Lily speaks during the song, when she introduces Sammy to Diane. Is this the only time a character speaks during the closing scenes. I can't think of another instance when this happens and when I go back and watch "The Runner" it just seems so awkward for Lily to be speaking, even though I think it was warrented.

That's the only episode (that I can rememer - someone correct me if I'm wrong) where there is actual dialogue in the closing scenes. It was very unusual. I agree Ryebeach, it seemed awkward, but warrented. Another thing that stuck out to me in that scene was Lilly herself. She seemed really different here than she usually does. I guess we don't normally see the really compassionate side to her b/c these scenes are when the ending music is playing. I wonder if the writers will have a "dialogue break" in any future episodes.
