Sorry guys. If I recall, Janet visited the spot where her mother was found at the end. The episode I'm referring is from season 1. And the suspect turned out not to be the killer.

I can't believe we're getting the characters wrong on this one. I guess we have a chance to figure it out tonight seeing they are airing "The Woods". Here's another clue. The relative was the victim's mother. The suspect was a sleazo who liked younger girls.
