The episode did not air much later than "Fly Away" did. The episode also has a classic Lily line in the interrogation room.

I'll give you another hint. Flashbacks to the victim's life took place in different years. The episode also had Lily give out one of her best lines in the interrogation room.

We have a winner. Matt Mills participated in a gas station robbery three years earlier. So at the end of the episode, his ghost flashed back to that age. It is the only time they have done that.
