1 )Free Love - BLAH, a basic remake of earlier Cold Case episodes...and a bad one at that.
2) Forensics - Another rich people are bad, poor people are good cliched episode.

You guys are killing me!  "The Runaway Bunny" is in my top 2 of the season. My least favorites: - Free Love (Worst. Episode. Ever.)

I'll probably have less choices than most, since there were fewer episodes this year that I especially DISLIKED, though there were some I was underwhelmed with. Here's a couple I wasn't crazy about:
1) The Crossing
This one was a bit unfair since there were a lot of subplots going on (Moe's trial, Kat and Bell) that were far more interesting than the case itself. The case itself wasn't particularly exciting. Even on a show like this that takes a great many licences, it's totally unrealistic that a body could go unnoticed in the engine room for 40+ years! SOMEBODY would've had to make a sweep of the place after they docked and decommissioned the ship, and most likely periodically in the intervening years as well, to make sure vagrants, vandals, or teenagers didn't sneak in somehow. Most of all, a victim being pushed from a ledge by her jealous best friend is one of the show's two biggest cliches.
2) Forensics
I mentioned one of the show's two biggest cliches above. Know what the other one is? The victim deciding that the group/team he's part of is too competitive/elitist/corrupt/consuming, deciding to quit, and getting killed for it. We saw this is "Colors", "Superstar", "Stand Up and Holler", and "Glory Days". Evidently joining any sort of team is wrong in the Cold Case world. Now I liked a couple of those eps (not all but some), but it was starting to get repetitive. I groaned when our victim decided to quit altogether. It was much better arc at the midway point when he wanted to use his debating skills to promote causes. This one I rank on the season's bottom, even below "The Crossing", and frankly, I'm surprised no one else has suggested this one yet.

What also bugged me about is that they used another cliche,the poor kid who managed to get a scholarship to a private school and is looked down upon by the rich kids,who aren't as smart and talented as he/she and are spoiled brats who have parents that teach their kids the "wrong" values. Are there snobbish rich kids? Oh my YES. But I hate how crime shows always have to portray the rich in a bad light. There are wealthy people who believe in hard work,don't look down on others, and raise their kids with values and respect for others. Sad to say,but there are plenty of poor people (at least CC has shown a couple episodes of this too),who feel that due to their hard life they're entitled to take things that aren't theirs or get rich through illigal means. |

Even though this was a great season and I like all the episodes, some just weren't really that great: - Forensics - A bit too cliched for my liking
- Iced - Meh, hockey. Mediocre, not bad.
- Free Love - I really dislike this one(worst ever), hate that FBI guy(whatever his name was...)
