Looks like it's about a sniper; now this should be interesting.

It looks like it will be a two part episode, judging by the casting call list..

You have to wonder if Yates will be the doer in the modern day shootings. The son is almost too easy.

This is part 1 of the two-parter; Bullet is part 2.

You have to wonder why they're doing a two partner now.. instead of using this as the season/(possible series)finale.

You have to wonder why they're doing a two partner now.. instead of using this as the season/(possible series)finale. I think they'll do it because they wanna atract viewers for the last episodes to check if they can save the show. IDK... I just thought that. The episode looks cool. Only 3 episodes more to know: 7x20, 7x21 and 7x22: Will one of those be the 1961 episode? The finale no way! Finales are never really old cases so NO.... I Have a feeling the season/series finale will investigate Moe's death and something really dramatic would be that Stillman is interviewing Lilly

I'm hoping there will be a 1961 case as well. As to Stillman interviewing Lily... wouldn't happen. Outside police or IAB would be the ones interviewing Lily, not her boss.

IAB would interview Lilly. That's what Internal Affairs does.....they deal with rogue cops. Not saying Lilly actually did anything because well....that episode hasn't aired yet and so we're all just guessing. However if she were to have done something, then they'd be responsible for interrogating her and all that jazz.

I doubt Cold Case would end with Lily being a murderer... just my option of course.

Well, now we know who the mysterious Cavanaugh is. Johnny Messner's an actor I like. I saw him as a badguy in an episode of "Chuck" a few weeks back, and in an extremely underrated movie called "One Last Thing...".
Will he become a potential love interest for Lilly? If that's the case, where does it leave Saccardo?
Also interesting is the introduction of Susanna Thompson, whom I've seen in quite a few things. The tagline identifies her as the woman responsible for "breaking up Stillman's marriage". I'd hate to think that means there was some sort of affair. Maybe it's wishful thinking, but every indication on that part from "Glued" on has pointed to his wife simply growing weary of the long hours he put in.
There's a couple of other familiar faces in the cast as well. Those of you who remember the TGIF days may remember William Russ as the dad from "Boy Meets World". Jon Gries you'll probably recognize as Ben's dad on "Lost" (and from "Napoleon Dynamite").

I also thought about a possible love thing between Cavanough and Lilly: let's see what happens-

Interesting. When I heard there would be a female FBI agent I thought to myself, wouldn't it be great if they hired someone older for the part, not the stereotypically young sexy agent in high heels you sometimes see on other crime shows. I'd hate to think that means there was some sort of affair. Maybe it's wishful thinking, but every indication on that part from "Glued" on has pointed to his wife simply growing weary of the long hours he put in. You and me both. If Stillman and his wife had already split before he had an affair but the divorce wasn't officially through yet, that would be different, but saying that that agent was responsible makes it look like Stillman lied about the reasons for the divorce before. And why do I have the feeling that they will screw up Stillman's timeline some more (how old is his daughter, when was she born, how old was she when her parents divorced etc.)

Stillman's never really had a love interest to speak on in seven years on the show. I've thought for a while someone good for him is someone a bit closer to his age (i.e. close to or over fifty) and in a position of authority herself (a successful businesswoman, a city councilwoman, etc.). How exactly this new character fits into Stillman's past remains to be seen.

*Wonders how this will affect the following trope:* Writers Cannot Do Math: Jeffries is 12 in 1963, a grown adult in 1966, and turns 60 in 2005. Stillman's daughter is said to be born in 1980, and then to be 18 about 20 years ago. And don't even try to guess the age of the killer arrested in "World's End" for a crime he committed in 1938. I see it all the time in other shows. Plus, I'm not sure Stillman would have wanted to admit he had an affair with another woman when he was talking to Lilly. I don't think I would. *Wonders how this will affect the following trope:* Writers Cannot Do Math: Jeffries is 12 in 1963, a grown adult in 1966, and turns 60 in 2005.
