Hi LillyScotty! Hey, girl! Thanks so much for posting this - it seems that the Cold Case Girl has entered the social networking arena! By the way, where did you hear that Asher convinced her to go on there? Also, so sorry to seem unhip here - if you sign up for Twitter and become a follower of someone - does that just allow you to get tweets from them and comment on them? Do you have a link to the person that you are following as well? Just wondering. Also, does anyone have any idea of Kathryn's plans for using Twitter? Just wondering. |

I thnk I'll hold off on following her until she actually starts tweeting (assuming she does). There just seemed like something a bit iffy about a bunch of people following someone who hasn't even done anything yet. Edited to add:For the board's official twitter and anyone else interested, I've been keeping a tally of any guest actors who have twitter accounts, if anyone wants to follow them as well. I just updated it. |

So, do you have to set up your own account on Twitter just for yourself then? Go through all the setup process? Also, when you become a follower, can you email the people that you follow or just other followers of that person? Just wondering.

It's been a while since I set mine up but I don't recall it being too difficult. You can send a reply tweet to anyone. Keep in mind, some of the more famous people on twitter are gonna get a lot of replies, but sometimes if you have a nice or interesting question or comment, they'll respond back. Just sign up. You'll figure it all out pretty quick. |

Hey Byrdman You're welcome. Asher posted a tweet with the link to her twitter saying her convinced her to join up Now you can reply to anyone's tweets even if you are not following them, you don't need to follow them, unless they have blocked their settings to make sure no one see's there tweets without following them, which Kathryn has not done. So you don't need to follow her to reply to her tweets. There is always a link to the person you are following, but you can put them in a list and that list will show only there posts. |

I would just keep an eye out for the "Verified Account" sticker in the top right corner; if it is really Kathryn, that should show up real soon.

And doesn't the name have a "1" after it. I thought that was odd. But, then again, there are more people with that name than just the actress. |

I kind of have a feeling Asher is running this. The reason is his twitter account info says his name is KATHRYN MORRIS and his bio says actress. He could have put that on his by mistake. Also I think you need to sign up for a verified account.

I might be acting a little dense / having a moment here, but for some reason I cannot figure out who "Asher" is that ya'll are referring to.
I am also skeptical of the KATHRYNMORRIS1, all in caps, so I would just suggest that ya'll be careful until such a time if or when a "verified account" sticker appears.
Also rm2, yes, should this actually be Kathryn, she/her agent would have to apply for a verified account and supply whatever form of proof Twitter requires.

Here is the information that Twitter has for verified accounts: twitter.com/help/verifiedI suppose I should modify my statement a little bit, as not all accounts are verified. I remain skeptical without a verified account in this case, because: A) Kathryn assumedly hasn't had a social media account before B) She has no official page to confirm that this is her actual twitter C) The configuration of the name is odd I'm not trying to tell people to follow/not follow, but just to remain mildly cautious, since this could very well be a fake account. |
