"What's going on with you?" Scotty walked in
"You don't tell me everything so I don't have to tell you things either!" she stormed out.
"Lil, wait!" Scotty called after her but she wouldn't stop. "wait, goddammit!" he grabbed her arm forcing her to stop.
Lilly quickly wiped away her tears, turning towards him. "Did you find him?"
"No, I think you were dreaming."
Lilly glared at him, sure she had heard a man.
"You okay?" he asked, moving towards her.
"I don't know, I just hate christmas."
Scotty smiled, sitting down. "I usually spend it with my family. You should go see your dad."
Lilly looked down at him, knowing his idea was quite smart.

Scotty observed Lil while she listened to her dad. She then suddenly flipped her phone close and dropped it on her desk with anger.
"What happened?" Scotty asked concerned for his partner.

"Yes, well no. I don't celebrate christmas remember, I'll ruin it."
"Lil, if you try to get into the spirit, maybe it will actually be fun."
Lilly didn't answer, just went back to work. Somehow, she would find a way for this to work.

Later that day Lil went to breakroom when Kat was getting herself coffee, "Kat? I have a favour to ask you."
"Shoot, Rush."
Lil looked down at the ground which made Miller concerned, "What's going on, Lil?"
"You celebrate Christmas?" Lil whispered
"Yeah. Why?"
"You know Christmas carols then, right?"
Kat almost choked on her coffee, "Why you ask?"
Lil tried to smile, "Will you teach me some?"

After about less then a week, it was Christmas Eve. Lilly was dressed nicley and she drove over to her dads house. she opened the door and saw her dad (step mom?) Phinn and Meg. she paused and stared at the other person there...

She could have sworn it was her mother.
"Hello Lilly." Cooper whispered, ushering her in.
"Hey dad."
"How are you?"
"Good thanks."
Lilly watched as her mother's figure came closer to her. She stepped back, scared when her hand reached out for hers.
"You okay Lilly?" Finn asked, watching as his sister stared into the air.
Lilly blinked, looking over at him. "Fine, just a little...out of place."

It was her mom. Lilly Breathed deeply
"Lilly?" Cooper said
Lilly clutched the table
"Lil?' her mom said.
Lilly fell down and fainted

She woke up in the hospital, a docter above her

Hour later Paul came in just before nurses preped Lil for operation.
"Everything's going to be ok, Lilly. I love you, you know that, right?"
Lil looked at him and behind him spotted figure of her mother.
"Is this a dream?" Lil whispered to her dad. Her mother's figured moved closer to her and just then Lil's life flashed before her eyes just before she fainted again.

Lil didn't open her eyes. She fell asleep now and when she woke up the next morning she saw Paul sleeping in the chair beside her. She looked around and spotted a small wrapped box on the table beside her.
"Hey. How you're feeling?" she turned when Paul asked her
"Good....Exhausted."
At that moment Finn, Meggie and Celeste came in to the room with paper bags in their hands.
"Hey, Lil. You can't get out of here so we came to you," Finn smiled
"Oh guys. Lilly's tired. Let's give her a rest," Paul got up from the chair
"Dad, it's ok," Lilly smiled and inside she was excited that someone thought of her for once.

They looked at her, and left

"we can't leave her," Finn protested
"She told us to go. can't force her to spend Christmas with us,"
"she didn't mean it, dad. Mom, please, you know she shouldn't spend this time alone."
"I'm with Finn on this. she shouldn't be alone now, Paul," Celeste turned to her husband
Paul sighed not sure what to do.
