After that horrible episode called "Dead Heat" THIS IS THE COLD CASE I LOVE- I screamed, cried, laughed... It was excellent! Loved it
I have to admit I like when detectives see the victims. not the family. In this case, I would have put Kat to see Donalynn.
Will absent... OK, What I hate is that they don't even give an explanation. Maybe because of the cold case job he's working at?

Honestly, the family/friends of the deceased should be who sees the victim unless there are extenuating circumstances.

Electro, I agree with you. Like in Sleepover, I felt the mother should have been the one to see her daughter strolling by on the bike.

We all have different opinions but I did like when detectives were more involved in cases and they saw the victim.

Ohh, I don't mind the detectives being more involved in the cases but I just felt in many cases that Lily or one of the other detectives seeing the victims over the loved ones who have lived with it for years or decades was wrong.

I finally watched this online. I missed that last 10 minutes because of my stuffed up laptop. Personally, I loved the case. I really enjoyed that side of it. However, I am hating Eddie. He is doing the wrong things and Lilly is letting him get away with it.

I just saw the ep finally... (And I reappear here because I hadn't entered for a while due to too much work...)
The case was good, really good. Even if I was really angry with the foster mother! Her first priority should be the safety of the girls and neglect her personal opinions...
As for Lil's part... I hadn't read any spoilers so I was surprised with Saccardo's act and angry with Lil's "Let me think about it." When she she said that she threw it. I was relieved but my worst thought became real in the last second... Eddie is putting the gun in her hands! Lil maybe would never reach that point with only fighting with herself even if she was thinking about killing Moe! (Ugh! I disliked Saccardo from the moment one...!) Anyway... Let's she what she will finally do.
Glad that Kat is back! Bad that Will is missing!!

Another thing about this episode.. it showed rap music when it was about life experiences and actually had a message, not that all women are hoes and that being a thug is cool like the gangsta crap of today.

While I share your dislike of current rap music, there may be members here who DO like it. It's perfectly okay that you don't like it, but be mindful that your opinion may not be shared by everyone and therefore, it should be tempered. Calling it "crap" puts down what other people may like, and that's not fair.

i actually like old school hip hop of the early 80's and the late 80's early 90's. i like how this episode was accurate to depict the trend changes of hip hop at the time. around the early 90's..the subject matter was about african americans emphasizing their roots from the "motherland". artists began wearing medallions of that nature. it was a way to counteract the "commercialization" of hiphop artists like fresh prince before gangsta rap started taking over in the better part of the 90's.
im not a fan of gangsta rap either but i detest country music drivel even more...that then gansta rap and bubble-gum pop like kelly clarkson and nickleback.

Sorry Electro.. some people here may like it. It's just whenever I've heard it or seen the videos... they sicken me... there is not a single positive message in any of it.. IMO of course.

Sorry Electro.. some people here may like it. It's just whenever I've heard it or seen the videos... they sicken me... there is not a single positive message in any of it.. IMO of course. You also need to keep in mind that what you see on TV or hear on the radio is just a small percentage of the genre as a whole. What makes it to MTV or similar networks and what gets played on the radio is what sells, and that's not always what is the best. Rap is not the only genre to suffer from this, the same happens to pop, rock and country. The current stuff is pretty ridiculous, but unless you listen to every single rap song and watch every single rap video from every single rap artist/group, you can't really say that there isn't a positive message in any of it. I'm not picking on you and I hope you don't think so, I just don't like when people broad-brush entire groups of music because of what is played on TV or the radio. That's why I don't watch MTV or listen to terrestrial radio. I listen to online radio or satellite radio because that way I get exposed to other elements of the genre and can make a more informed opinion.

Oh no, I don't think you're picking on me at all. As to radio listening, I had to avoid it until now for the past few weeks. Christmas music was playing on three of our stations already.

I am not really into rap, at least not into the popular stuff, but this episode was excellent to me. I didn't expect the foster mother to be the doer and the motive surprised me, too. The closing montage was great and I really like the song.
What I didn't like was Eddie(as usual. ...you don't deserve Lilly!!). I understand that Lilly needs means to protect herself, not to purposefully murder Moe. It isn't a really good thing to give her an untraceable gun in her current state. She might as well just have really killed him. Furthermore, the take the writers made for Lilly(her keeping the gun/lying about it), I don't like it. Everybody has a dark side, but I don't take Lilly for somebody who would really murder someone not out of self defense.

Didn't really care for this episode and not sure why.
I haven't watched the last few episodes so what is going on with Scotty and Vera? They mad at each other? Is it because Vera forced the department to make everyone have a physical?
I didn't think the foster mom was the doer though but Lilly sure seemed more pale than recently.

I don't like rap, but I liked this episode. I thought the foster father was the doer... big surprise! I don't think Scotty and Vera were mad at each other, maybe I overlooked it, but I don't think They were.

I enjoyed seeing this episode again... the foster mother as a doer was as the doer sadly still makes sense to me. She was like many in the foster care system. They like the young, cute kids who have no issues and shy away from the older ones who are more likely to have emotional baggage. Alice wanted Meesha, but didn't want Donalyn around and simply wanted her to go away, without thinking of how it would affect Meesha.
