It's a case from 1970 ( source- Spoilertv) 7X04 Soul for the casting listings. Looks like Lilly will be meeting her half-brother in this one.. Wonder if her dad will make an apperance, or the supposed return of Saccardo? |

I'm glad it's a case from 1970, I wonder when Lilly's half-sister will show up. I'm looking forward to Lilly meeting her Finn.

I don't see any sign of Lil's dad or Saccardo but her 16 year old half brother Finn does make his first appearance and he looks to be just as sharp and sneaky as his big sister.
The victim is 20 year old Billy Sanders, the musical "son of a preacher man". I am super excited because they're finally doing an episode about "Philly soul" music.

So the hapless Officer Lennox from "Officer Down" will be back. Good. Every show needs those recurring bit players.
The release is a bit inaccurate though. Finn would be Lilly's half-brother, not her step-brother.

We never had a case from 1970. This season is using years without Cold cases before: 1966, 1970, 1944.

I can only imagine the great music we'll hear in this episode - I can't wait. We already know that the O'Jays "Backstabbers" will be one of them from the preview. I am thinking into more into the Stylistics, The Delphonics, The Spinners, and maybe Herbie Hancock. I would not be surprise if they put a Jackson 5 into it. |
