Well we can always dream about the cats coming back

I really like the Lilly/ Joseph relationship but I do see where they wheren't ment to be together.

I agree for some reason I want Lilly to have a breakdown, this way we can see a softer more delicate side of her. I hope that they will show Lilly with a little bit of trauma because of the accident like they did when she got shot. Using her dreams to show her fear and such. I don't think Lilly has still come to terms with the shooting, in my mind. But I really hope that they write in some more personal things within Lilly in the new season.

she would quit her job and go sulk in her house until her knight in shining armor, SCOTTY showed up to save her!!!

haha did you ever notice that the cat thats eyes was missing. Well they eye that was missing changed eyes from left to right a few times haha

Yeah I don't think they will ever write Lilly and Scotty together because they are never ment to be. And I think he blew his chances when he dated her sister.

If Lilly has a breakdown I think she might try to hide it a little bit, but in the end surrender to it.

lol yeah, i only noticed after i read it on this forum and i went back to watch the episodes! poor kitty! lol!

yeah she'll totally deny theres anything wrong and go back to work to soon! then she'll crack! I kinda hope we see a situation that makes her question her job but that she comes through it in the end!

I know Lilly and Scotty probably wont happen but i still think we'll see Lil in a relationship! maybe later on in the season! after her breakdown! the girl needs some happyness!

Why would a relationship even bring her happiness, Lilly needs to find her own happiness in herself, I agree about Lilly and Scotty never will happen, why would it anyhow.

Yeah, right now I don't think Lilly is in a place for a relationship, right now she needs family. She doesn't need her heart crushed anymore because thats just what will happen. She needs to start over and build a new relationship with her father and his family. That way she can gain some happyness and maybe far in the future if they get renewed for season 8 maybe give her a relationship. THAT WORKS!!

Most people find happiness in relationships. Thats the whole point of a relationship, your spending time with someone who really knows you. someone who can cheer you up when your down. Lilly wont feel so lonely if shes with someone who really knows her.
I do agree that Lilly needs to sort her life out first tho, inner peace and all that.

See i believe that the reason Lilly's relationships don't work is because she can not share her past. She is a very gaurded person therefore making it hard for people to help her because she never wants to talk about it. Like when she got shot, she went to the shrink but never actually told the therapist what really happened.

I think Lilly is happier when she is not in a relationship.

I Agree with you. that would be the best solution!
I totally see where your coming from and i am starting to think that it would be best to let Lilly sort her life out first.

Yeah Lilly is they type of person that needs to find the person that is exactly right! But until she lets parts of her past go she can never have that relationship. Right now she needs family and friends around her. It would be intersting if they wrote Lilly's sister in for a few more episodes. That could be interesting

First that had to do with the shooting, how Lilly had said the doctors in her nightmare were asking her if there was anyone to call. There wasn't, but this has nothing to do what happened in the Season Six finale. Lilly awoke with her father holding in her hand, in Season 3 nobody was there for her.

That's the point that the therapist was trying to convey, about what she's done in her life, people she loved. That sort of thing, I don't think it has anything to do with what's going on here.

I know how that doesn't really relate to the season 6 finale but I put it in there because it shows how Lilly is guarded, which causes her hard to have a relationship with.

I don't think it has anything to do with her having a relationship or not, Lilly can easily work well with other's and socialize well. On the other hand, perhaps all that Lilly needs is a long vacation. She needs to get out her head, and learn how to relax.

I agree that shen needs to take a vacay!

I don't think she has ever taken a vacation the entire show!

The main thing that I think Lilly needs is to evaluate herself and make herself a better woman. She needs to let some of the past go and to maybe treat herself to something special.

Minor correction...it was season four she got shot in.
And actually, there were people there for her after it happened, and I think the fact she doesn't recognise that fact is one of Lilly's major problems. All her coworkers were there in the waiting room at the hospital (or pacing the hallway in Scotty's case) waiting for her to be okay. Even Stillman, who'd been shot himself and should have been getting fixed up too. It wasn't like they went to the pub or back to work or something. They were there, they cared for her, but she either doesn't realise it or doesn't include them in her very short list of "people who give a cr@p about me". Okay, she couldn't call them since they were already at the hospital, but that in itself should count for something!
That also ties into "Into the Blue", how she sees them showing very little concern for her beyond a simple 'glad you're okay'. I think Scotty was the only one who seemed even a little bit worried about her. It's like she thinks they don't really see her as anything other than a coworker, not a member of their extended family.
So what I'd love to see this season from Lilly is that she at least start to realise that yes, it's great her dad's back in her life and she has a whole new family to meet, but she really wasn't alone before she went seeking him out. She had a family. She had people who loved her.
I'm not holding my breath, though. The woman is not prone to self-examination.

I do see where you are coming from. Like how Lilly doesn't really see that all of her coworkers are like family, I don't think she see's that. It would be nice if someone told her like Im here for you or showed more of a concern towards her. Maybe that way she can open up and tell someone what is really going on inside her head.

I really think she might open up alot more in season 7. I think with her family coming into it, she will let her walls down and reveal a little more about her past and feelings. It might be hard for her, but the writers need to do something with her character. I really hope its opening up.

I agree they really need to show a different side of her. I want to see the Lilly that we saw in season 1. I miss her big smile Back in season one she had more fun. She cracked a joke but in the recent seasons we don't see that as much. I really hope at some point the write that old Lilly back in.

That won't happen, Lilly's changed since Season 1 plus after everything ( Shooting George, her shooting, falling forty feet into the river), I don't think she'll be like she was back then. Plus the characters aren't who they are in Season 1 anyhow.

She does smile, we saw a lot of that in Season six.

I know that she will never be the same as season 1 but it would be nice to see some more of the funny side of her. Like in the episode where Scotty and Will cut off Veras tie that was funny and they way she reacted to it in the Cold Case room with Vera was funny. I want more of that in the upcoming season.

I know that she smiles but it would be nice to see her smile even if someone doesn't say anything, because thats when we see her smile.
