It may not be leading into anything, for me I'll watch the episode again to see If I had missed something. Usually that's the case. Usually I'm not a shipper of anything but I'm about to become a Kat Miller/ADA shipper

eduardo- if you want I could make you an avatar of the two of them... I did think it's better when there isn't any love relationships, the show seems to flow much better that way. After re-watching it, it indeed the format was very different but it wasn't enough to draw me in fully.

It was very weak for Vinny to commit such a crime, for his daughter. He didn't realize what his actions had caused, but there wasn't a real motive. Vinny already in Witness protection, so he wasn't connected to the mob family.
This storyline was among a trageity like the ones that shakespear would often write about.

Hey boys and girls! Hello, it's the Byrdman coming at you on this rocking Monday! I hope that you all are well, and that you had a great weekend. And a great Sunday with a brand new CC episode! I liked this ep, so I voted it as good. I just felt as I was watching the episode last night like it had been so long since I had last seen a new one.....it was like I was having CC withdrawal or something. Oh well. I thought Lilly looked lovely in this episode. Say, did anyone notice a darker shade of hair color in the back? You might notice it after Lilly has her exchange with Vera and Jeffries and is introduced to Leigh for the first time. Just something I hinted. But the new ADA is a crackup - dude seems to be so lighthearted about everything! Him asking Lilly if cell phones have GPS now! Too funny! ;D I hope the next new CC episode comes soon - it was great to see KM and all the rest of them last night. Take care, and have a rocking night, boys and girls!

It was a good episode, I liked it, although a bit unusual. I liked so much Lilly and Kat interviews, in particular the Tammy's one. Frankie is gone and ADA Bell is back: two points in favour of this episode! The new ADA is funny, and an hypothetical relationship between him and Kat could be...interesting. ;D

I know I'm late in the game posting this but I saw this episode on DVR today (busy as hell) It was incredibly boring. It was a like cheap version of Without A Trace episode. For the boring episode list..this rates right next to "Red and the Blue" Even the humorous banter between Jefferies and Vera, Bell and Miller and even Frankie with Valens wasnt enough to save from falling asleep. Hopefully "Jackals" will make up for it

I still think this episode was excellent. The issue sometimes is what you expect. example: Almost no one was expecting "The brush man" to be a good episode and It was(you all know) but in this case most people were expecting something like "Offender": They changed the Cold Case style and I found the case still excellent

I still disliked this one, I don't know it I guess I just found it to be a bit " odd and out of place" so to speak. I'm hoping the next one is much better

I hated this episode, I found it real hard work and only watched it because I felt I had to give it a shot.
Worst episode of Season 6 and possibly the worst ever.

It was not the best of the show but worst of season 6? and what was Breaking news & Street Money Worst ever? There are several others worse episodes than this

So we had three worst episodes, but this one took the cake. I was wondering why the writers even chost to write this one...

This was very good for me. The issue is that people were expecting more but It was not that good. Breaking News was far worse than this one. People did not like the experiment... but sometimes we need to see a change on cold case. we have to be open minded about the format.

Aside from the time and location being flashed on the screen, the format wasn't really that different.
It was still the usual format of finding suspects/witnesses which in turn lead to finding more suspects/witnesses until eventually they find the 'doer'. How was this any different?
I just found it an effort to watch it. Breaking News and Street Money were pretty lame, I admit that, but at least both held my attention right through. I only just managed to struggle through this one at the third attempt, twice I started to watch and simply couldn't get into it.
