What I didn't like is that the article had said" If the cast members are talented enough", they are talented beyond talented. I'm very upset about that, perhaps they can use old footage of scenes from Philly to incorperate the scenes..

Here's to hoping they don't have shots of gritty looking neighborhoods with palm trees swaying in the fore and backgrounds

That's too bad but I do think that the writers, directors and actors are talented enough to pull this off without being in Philly. Hopefull it'll still be the same Cold Case that we all love

Ugh! Oh man, this is bad! No more Philly? Wow, I knew they would have to cut back on some things, but that? I will definitely miss their interacting with the Philadelphia backdrop at points in the season - those have been some of my favorite scenes over previous seasons. Oh well, the recession I guess......I knew that there would be some cutbacks in how the show was handled this year. Aren't most of the main cast even on a reduced season this year?  |

Come on everybody knows that it's the last one season This could be the last season but a lot can happen in a year. In March we all thought it was pretty much over then look what happened just two months later, it ended up getting renewed, and we get to look forward to a seventh season. So I say it's not over till it's over. And it wont be 100% authentic Philly but I'm sure they'll be able to tie in Philly scenes this season even if they're not going to actually be there.  |

Well then, this is certainly disappointing. I cannot believe that they cannot spend even just one day in Philly. They're going to have a hard time recreating atmosphere; it's virtually impossible.
But this doesn't mean it has to be the end. The show will stay on as long as the fans can keep it on.

My guess is they'll be spending a lot more time indoors. "NYPD Blue" had to stop shooting scenes in NY during it's final year. Hopefully it's not that noticeable.

Why do I have a feeling that this isn't a good thing, I do hope they can add footage to replace it. It's going to be a bit hard, you know knowing that they aren't really in Philly.

Nothing is set in stone, This isn't really the topic, but I'm really concerned on how they are going to pull off the philly scenes without not actually being there. Shooting in Philly is what it made it special, but we'll see starting on September 27th how things will go.
Let's not jump to any conclusions, I'm really hating this resession though. Cutting the budget didn't mean not shooting in Philly, I was pretty shocked by this.
