A new start for this thread. Post random thoughts on any topic!
For the sake of a little more order and to avoid this becoming a simple +1 (on your post count) thread, please only post when you have something longer than a sentence to talk about. You can post about several different things at once!

Oh my, I didn't know my thread would become so popular that we'd need to make a new one! I'm flattered.

*huff* I am very frustrated. And I feel like writing a lengthly post. I desperately need a new doctor. My doctor right now is so....... old-fashioned. She told me that she doesn't feel comfortable giving me my new month of Birth Control, because she thinks I'm too young to need it!!!! Um, hello, I'm paying for a DOCTOR, not a MOTHER. Even my mother isn't this old-fashioned though. *Sigh* Guess I should start hunting for a new doctor now. I need to get one in Chicago anyway, I'm not living in Suburbia anymore. Me and my friends all decided to move into our suites that our families own. Right now we're in Trump Tower Chicago. In a few weeks, we'll switch to all of our suites in the Ritz Carlton, then the Hilton, then the Four Seasons, then the Swiss Hotel. I love city life. ;D It's so exciting. I love the city!!!!!!!!!! And I love the absolute freedom I have. It's lovely.

just wondering to myself after reading this on Associated Press...
#49 on Forbe's Celebrity List garnering major attention, hence making him a celebrity like McCain has stated... $2.5 million dollar in 12 months from his "historic" presidency.
Any chance he's doing anything good with that money from the way he's going to tax us?
No, we're no Barack Obama. We don't have millions of money, but just because we're in the 200k bracket doesn't mean we should be taxed. We're just barely making it here on the island....New York/Long Island is an expensive place to live in and a costly education.

It's expensive here too, the homes are costly and the taxes are horrible. We pay double food tax down here.

Today was possibly the worst day ever. Stupid doctor. So, I went to a doctor, and got my new month! This one doesn't discriminate based on age, either. So now, I can just live life like normal, no worries, no regrets.

Sometimes I wish that my family was making 200k a year. Right now, I'm the only one with a steady job, and I'm only raking in about $9568 and that's before taxes. My mom gets SSI, but it's not that much. It's funny in a way, we haven't really noticed the repression going on, because we've been in one our selves for a while now.
I just wish that my dad would find a job, or at least see about getting on SSI himself (he could get on it.) Unfortunately he doesn't want to work retail, and he's too proud to get SSI.

Oh what I wouldn't do to be making 200k a year. That would make my life so much easier!! But I make...oh not much. I only work 2 nights a week, and its student minimum wage so... But, better news! I have signed up for my scuba (finally)!! Part 2. It took me a while to save up enough money, but I am now going to be getting certified. And they day that I'll recieve my certification is my birthday! Its my own little present to myself that will help in the future.

Is it wrong that I like The Electric Hellfire Club's version of "Sunday Bloody Sunday" more than U2's version? On that note, I also like EHC's version of "South of Heaven" more than Slayer's version. Okay, I'm sucker for covers and remakes. The last full cover album I got was Entombed's "Sons of Satan Praise the Lord" Yeah, off wall title, but some of the covers are interesting. I won't list all the songs, but they remade/covered;
The Ballad of Hollis Brown - Originally by Bob Dylan 21st Century Schizoid Man - Originally by King Crimson God of Thunder - Originally by Kiss two covers of Amazing Grace. A punk version and a "mellow drunk version" (I'm guessing that's the version you listen to when you're hung over.)
Switching thoughts. Being sort of a self proclaimed nerd I can say that I RP (text based, livejournal/insanejournal) As of now I'm in one game that's a Heaven VS Hell game. As you can imagine, there would need to be an equal balance of good characters and evil characters. So the game has that, right?
BZZZZT!! Wrong!
There are at least three characters on Hell's side who were trying to deflect to Heaven's side, and at least another two or three who don't do anything evil. At all. And it makes me wonder; why even apply to play as an evil character when you're not going to play them that way? I have three characters on that side, and playing them is fun. One of them is a demon who gives off this childish attitude, but actually uses his adversaries weaknesses as bait. (Example: Using kittens to bait this one character into a fight.) Another one who's one of those 'Self righteous Holier than thou' characters, and another character who's actually a...technically he's a thoughtform; basically, he's half a soul.
I do play a couple of characters on Heaven's side. One is a complete smart aleck, and the other one is...well, if it weren't for her hatred of Hell she probably would be on that side.

I had an amazing night, I hope everyone else's was as great as mine!!! I had an awesome party, then Cam stayed over. But before that, me and some friends went back to the suburbs (ugh) to get the rest of our clothes. *Sigh* I loved last night! My suite in the Trump Towers is amazing, the living room is like completely windows, and the windows look over the city/river. And at nighttime, when its just you and someone else, it's so romantic.

It's sad when you have no reason to be proud of your country because everything is bad(like in Panama)

I just wish that my dad would find a job, or at least see about getting on SSI himself (he could get on it.) Unfortunately he doesn't want to work retail, and he's too proud to get SSI. New Mexico's income taxes, property taxes, and corporate taxes probably aren't too high. It's New Mexico for god sakes(no offense)! It's a beautiful sight/place to live when you're older, but it's like a desert...isn't it? What is out there in New Mexico? o.O It just seems like a foreign place to most of us in the US except those living in New Mexico. The movies don't do the state any justice though(IE: "Hills Have Eyes"). It is quite a view, but what is there?? Oh what I wouldn't do to be making 200k a year. That would make my life so much easier!! But I make...oh not much. I only work 2 nights a week, and its student minimum wage so... It depends on where you live....... I live in Long Island, New York. Long Island is basically suburbia. I'm only an hour away from NYC so it's not that bad. Houses here cost like 1 million dollars, that is if you can find one that cost that cheap anymore(thank god my parents bought this house back in 98' when it cost only like 200-300k!) . Most houses here now are anywhere from 2-5 million dollar homes. Then, you also have your mansions in the Hamptons and some mansions in Rocky Point(IE: 50 Cent, my friends and I saw him one day in Friendly's). Next, you have places like Coram and Brentwood(the worst places to live in. crime is so high over there. Plus, Coram has so many sexual offenders living in that area). Despite this "recession" that we're in right now, property prices aren't dropping here in great ol' New York. They're still high as ever. Like I said, if you make 200-250k here on Long Island with your property taxes, income taxes, corporate taxes, etc.....it amounts to barely NOTHING. It's very hard to save money here on Long Island...especially for my college education which I'm planning on going to schools like NYU, Syracuse, John Hopkins, UPenn, Penn State, etc. and they're extremely pricey/good schools for pre-med/science. My parents have a hard time making ends meet as it is already. Obama's tax plan will just hurt us. We aren't RICH people!!! As far as I know, he didn't mention anything about an adjustable tax rate for his plan....he just said that he's going to tax people that earn over the 250k bracket.

Admittedly I don't know much about the property taxes here, but when the average income is like 20-30k a year...yeah. I mean, I know that at least with my family we haven't been able to do much of anything.
Vacations? Ha ha ha, yeah right.
Movies? The last time I went to the theater was when Iron Man was playing. As for renting movies, we now pay an $8 subscription to Netflix that allows us to stream movies from our computer to the TV via my XBox360, and right now we have cable.
CDs? Games? I buy that stuff used, or wholesale. The last brand new CD I purchased was Amon Amarth's "Twilight of the Thunder God" for $14.99 Other than that, all of the other CDs I've purchased have been on sale for $2.99 - $5.99
As for video games, I buy those used as well. A lot of times they'll have sales 'Buy two get the third for a dollar' so about $40-$50 for three games isn't so bad.
And, actually New Mexico isn't ALL desert. The town/city* I live in is located in a valley, with several plateaus and mesas surrounding it. We also have a couple of forests here (although they're privately owned so exploring them is out.) We also have five rivers here, two of them being the San Juan river and the Rio Grande.
It's actually southern New Mexico, eastern New Mexico that's the stereotypical desert. Santa Fe is located on/near a mountain.
