We DON'T have relations with Cuba, in fact we haven't since the Kennedy administration. President Obama wants to change that since 47 years is long enough, but who knows how effective him pushing that through will be in the end.
And for the record, we have seen throughout history how communism doesn't work. Do a little research on the Soviet Union before 1991 to see what I mean.

Yeah my mistake, but it might mention " The bay of Pigs", in '63

The Bay of Pigs was in 1961, about 3 months after Kennedy took office. The Cuban Missile Crisis was in October of 1962. By 1963, Kennedy was far more focused on social issues/agendas and re-election than Cuba, seeing as how they won the staredown with the Soviets.

Whatever is mentioned, I'm sure it will be good. I'm a bit rusty on US history though

I'm a Socialist and I know It's not perfect but look at Capitalism right now: Economy has gone down. Anyway: This episode has the Latino thing that gets me since I'm Latino but I just hope they just don't give the same old and repeated message "Socialism is bad"

Just because our economy is in bad shape right now doesn't mean capitalism is a bad thing, or that it doesn't work or that we should abandon it. We will rebound from this, we've done it before. Socialism in its purest form does not work. Countries like Sweden, Denmark and Canada are social democracies, which tempers what is inherently wrong with a 100% socialist regime. Socialism/Communism cannot work in a 21st century society. So yeah, socialism IS bad. Doesn't mean it has a place in the episode, but if it comes up....it doesn't make it wrong.

I don't know: The summary says something about the guy that escaped the Cuban Govt. I just hope they don't focus on politics I highly doubt they will, that is not CC style. History, politics is context and background mainly, they focus on people and their personal stories. We have a story here about a Cuban exile in the US, not about a Cuban in Cuba, huge difference. No need to get excited about communism or images of communism here.

eduardo- Did you read what Myril that written above, I don't think it has anything to do with communism. I think it might show how hard it was for the victim coming to a new country; prejudice etc.
