That Young-Lilly flashback will be interesting... what will be she remembering? Maybe when her dad left? That's possible. Or maybe he's connected to the case somehow. From what I've seen so far, he looks very much like he's hiding something from Lilly.

The only thing I think that Cooper is hiding is his guilt for leaving her as a little girl, long ago.

Yes, the flashback has nothing to do with the case directly. It is Lil's dad saying goodbye to her.

This definitely sounds good. Cold Case usually tackles themes like this very well. Just look at Wednesday's Women.

This episode seems interesting for several reasons Several flashback years -Lilly was botn in 1969 or 1970: because the flashback when her dad left is in 1976

I think she was born in 1970, because if she was six in 1976 that would be logical. 1969 would be seven so we know that she is a year older than Kathryn

Maybe she was born in December 1969 and the flashback takes place in June 1976. She'd be still 6 yrs old... we dont know

I'm still thinking that she's was born in 1970, but let's not make any guesses until we actually see the episode. That way we can be really sure..

I think she was born in 1970, because if she was six in 1976 that would be logical. 1969 would be seven so we know that she is a year older than Kathryn You mean a year younger. As I did when writing "Blood and Water", I'm gonna assume a birthdate sometime in 1969, and that she hadn't yet turned seven in the '76 flashbacks. The reason for this is a little conversation between Lilly and Scotty in "Volunteers": Lilly: 1969. You weren't even born yet, right? Scotty: World had to wait till the seventies for me. This sort of implies that Lilly WAS alive in the sixties, albeit VERY LATE sixties. A late '69 birth, and being six when her father left in '76 is a tight fit, but it works (Having half the episodes on your hard drive sure comes in handy sometimes. )

You could be right todd, but that could be Lilly just talking. Nothing really states that she was born in '69; besides Lillly does have a habit of not tellin gthe truth. Let's just see what happens, in this episode

I'm really glad that Lilly's dad is in this one as well, he seems not to be a train wreck like her mother. He's actually so far a good postive character in her life.
