Hi guys and girls ! I've reading a new rumor on an other web site...Apparently Lilly will be killed at the end of the season. Do you heard this rumor ? I've read all the spoliers, whoever made that one up is probably lying. Please post where you have heard that one. I doubt they would kill Lilly off |

Sounds like speculation. And that would be cruel for the writers to do that unless the actress were in fact leaving the show while the series would continue...

Hi people ! I've read somewhere - but i don't remember where - that KM had signed for 7 seasons. Does anyone confirm this information ? So, even the drama is cancelled after this one ( I hope of course it will not, but we have to be realist I think ...) , I don't think she won't let her place ... At the end of the show, I would not see Lilly's or anyone's death ... Let them finish their job without we see them further.
At the moment, it will be time to show us that we're vigilant with the future of the show with the international petition that Syd and some others have prepared to submit to fans and CBS.

Everyone is signed on for seven seasons, but part of the reason why Cold Case might be cancelled has to do with the US's economy as well.

I hope they don't kill Lilly. That would be even more cruel than if they cancel the show so abruptly.

Like I had said before, that probably won't or ever happen. Someone said it but there is no actual proof; plus I've been on top of all the spoilers. If there is something it will be posted in the spoiler thread.
Getting back to the cancellation, it's very possible that Cold Case might get cancelled. It's expensive enough to produce and the US economy isn't that great right now anyway. People want to save money.

Smalville has a lower rating and many other shows. Are they gonna cancel everything?

It's sounds that way doesn't it, but just because Cold Case attracts older viewers doesn't mean it should be cancelled; even if it's expensive to produce. The ratings are still high, it's always in the top 20. Plus people like it; the worst that they could do was put Cold Case on for a half-season then end it. It's not fair to the viewers, who tune in regualy for the show, every sunday night. It's still very popular overseas as well.. |

I'm still hoping we even get another season, the ratings are strong enough to hold another season; plus they are contracted to S7. The show hasn't Jumped the shark so to speak, I don't see why this show should be put to sleep, the end of this season

Gosh......this news hit me hard when I first read about it here on the boards. To imagine that CC is on the chopping block is hard to believe. I guess when you have been a fan of the show as long as I have (since early into Season 2), you just sort of expect the show to be there for next year. And all of a sudden, all of my Cold Case memories flew back to me....seeing KM in that commercial for the first time and deciding to tune in, watching all of the tension that was with George in S2 all the way up through the season finale; meeting you all here on this wonderful board that I have been a faithful member of since 2005 (woo-hoo!  ) watching all of the various progressions and developments with our favorite characters; and receiving my spectacular autograph response from KM the day after "Joseph" aired in 2006. That return is still one of the most special days of my life, and I still get excited every time that I think about it. Then I truly realized how special this show has been for me. It is truly one of the greatest shows I have ever watched, and the special girl who stars in it rocks! I have heard different tales from different people, but it seems to be a combination of insufficient ratings not justifying the expense and the recession taking a toll on CBS. I am willing to take part in a save the show effort for sure, it will just determine what needs to be done, if it comes to that. Whatever happens, all Cold Case fans should take some special time to enjoy the next few episodes. Look back, and remember what the show means to you! Sorry, I hope that was not too reflective. Ha!
