The fact that Lilly is letting her hair down is "representative of her loosening the reins on herself", KM says. Yeah, whatever that means. I thought it to be peculiar too because from the interviews, KM was so adamant about how her character looked. She never wanted Lilly to be one of those high maintenance chicks. Who knows... my money is on CBS making those changes. I don't think they ever liked the idea of Lilly being so manish! Hah! They just wanted another CSI copy.

I don't watch the other Bruckheimer shows but from what I see in the promos I don't want CC to be another clone. I wanted it to just be about Lilly so that the show can be unique. Don't particularly care for clone shows as a reason to add another person into the mix when the show has already been established and it's working. Again I base this upon the predecessors of Sunday night viewing with such shows in this slot as Murder She Wrote (I think this was it's time slot) and Touched By An Angel.

I'm a little bothered by the hair too. And I don't buy the "loosening reins on herself" bit either. I just don't see how a near-death experience could make you want to do your hair more often. It makes no sense. And I was so proud of the way CC always got things to make sense before somehow. Maybe someday they'll give an explanation for it??
And, no offense, but the guys who work with her HAVE to have noticed. I mean, c'mon. The change is blatant!!! And considering how gossippy they all are (just remember Vera and Scotty's comments regarding the "new girl") I just don't see them not cracking a joke.
