In last weeks issue of TV Guide (the aust. version) there's the minutest article that reads "END OF THE ROAD - Cold Case head honcho John Stillman (John Finn) retires."
Does anyone have anything else that can back this up? I went insane when I read it - please tell me it's not true......

No Stillman puts in his retirement papers, but he doesn't retire at all. Don't worry about him leaving Lee, he isn't..

Well it's true Lilly will have yet another love interest.. Here's one fewer Cold Case for Lilly Rush to solve: I have confirmed the identity of her next sexual conquest, and it's Emmy winner Bobby Cannavale.
Sources tell me exclusively that the graduate of Third Watch and Will & Grace has been cast as a recurring love interest for Kathryn Morris' single homicide detective. Oh my! As a die-hard "Third Watch" fan I am very familiar with Bobby Cannavale and I'm really happy to read he's going to have a recurring role on the show. Definitely looking forward to watching him (and his interaction with Lilly)!  Thanks for the news, LII2! |

My immediate reaction is that this isn't a good idea, but I guess if it gets Lil smiling again, it's worth something.

as long as its after they finish up the other story lines (e.g. shooting) I don't mind. I can jsut see this being cheesy though. I'm really hanging on here, if it is cheesy that might be just about it for me and cold case and I don't want it to be!

Oh tg, something other than stress for lil! And a decent looking something to boot! Although I'd prefer her with someone less like scotty... This guy just has the same kind of look, a similar jawline, but a larger presence. Imho anyway. Wonder who his character is... I'm hoping he's a fireman. I'm glad I'm not the only one who picked up on the "Scotty" vibe, and not just from his looks. According to some spoilers I read over in the thread about this specific episode, the guy is a narcotics cop who has a tendency to bend the rules and irritate the brass. I'm kinda curious about how Scotty's going to react to this guy. |

Ray is a childhood sweetheart to Lilly. He was there for her after her attack when she was 10. He even made her milkshakes! He came back in S4(I'm guessing, seasons run together for me) He got into some trouble and ended up in the hospital(see my hot banner and icon for the highlight of his stay in the hospital:) He left for California and asked Lil to come and she told him to stop running from him, they shared a hot kiss and she left.
I think theres a lot unsaid on the Lilly/Ray front.

But I don't want another love triangle, Lilly needs to stick with one person. Besides this new love maybe be better then Ray, she needs someone different then a person that's always in trouble with the law.
