Girl who played Sloane Easton in "Close To Home"

No, I hope you all are doing great, and that you took some time to give thanks for all the blessings we enjoy in this wonderful country today.

Hey, I noticed a familiar face on a "Close To Home" episode I caught tonight. The girl who played Sloane Easton in the CC ep "Ravaged" as in the "Close To Home" that aired tonight. Remember her? The beautiful girl who was a drunk and had those 2 kids? Her sister was Vera's old Sweetheart. Anyway, this girl was in the show tonight, and just caught my eye.

By the way, has anyone heard if "Close To Home" is going to go for a full season or not? No credits after 8 episodes - amazing!

I saw that show tonight OMGs.. good catch byrdman, i didn't pay attention to who it was Hubby and i were kind of upset b/c our cable went out tonight :smile82: and we had to go to another room to watch TV with an antenna.. I truly enjoyed this episode tonight even tho TV guide had indicated a different show was to be shown, I was glad "Close to Home" was on instead

So, are you a "Close To Home" fan, Eurache? It sure sounds like it, and that is cool. Have you heard if they are going to go ahead and do a whole season yet? I just know they don't have opening credits after 8 eps, which is somewhat puzzling. Oh well.

I think Close to Home will become permanent. It was moved from Tuesdays because special events on that night. CBS discovered it helped boost Numbers' ratings a bit as well as its own. So it may become part of Friday's lineup along with Ghost Whisperer. By the way, Laura Regan, who played Rosie Miles in CC's "Fly Away" played the ghost on Ghost Whisperer this week. I caught the name in the opening credits but did not see her for a while. I then realized she was the ghost. The ghost was a bride who died on her wedding night. She had blond hair this time and her face was made up a bit more. She seemed angry, a contrast from Rosie Miles who acted scared and confused.

I believe I do Byrdman...remember Sloan? so thanks for the heads up LOL.. Byrdman.... ;D I spent hours on our cable to see if our cable wires were loose and if the box was not working properly. Since I set up all these cables wires to hook to our DVD... I knew what I did. My hubby don't know diddly about these things. He's only an Engineer in another field :smile81: I like to work on stuff like this and put things together but apparently, it was fault with the cable company.. So it came back on after 10pm. So someone screwedup or hit some switch.. I hate when that happens

I don't know if this show will be permanent, but I hope so, I really like this show but just read what r2k response, so it looks like it's gonna be a hit.. whoo Hoo :smile49:

Yes, I truly hope that "Close To Home" is a permanent show on CBS too. It is a great show, but I have not heard any reviews yet, and that beginning of the show just baffles me, with no credits. I guess all we can do is keep those high hopes, right?

Yes, also great to hear about your Thanksgiving tales, Eurache. I'm glad you had a great time on that day, and at your bro's as well. You might feel like a turkey, but I hope you feel better today.

byrdman - Close to Home has officially been picked up for a full season. It has done so well on Fridays that CBS is going to leave it there for the rest of the season (at least). Nice catch, BTW!

Thanks for the agreement on Sloane. Like I said, that poor girl. And also, thanks so much for providing that info on Close To Home too. I am so glad it is doing better on Fridays now. I had not heard anything, and I feared that it had not done well on Tuesdays.

However, I'm happy now. I like that girl Annabeth, and they use several Cold Case guests on that show too.
