I really like the lighting effect in the upper left corner... the rays of light streaming down onto Lilly and Scotty's faces. It's a neat effect and makes the banner really interesting! Very nice work!
Also, good choice of fonts in the first one. I like the mixing of different font styles, and the blocks of type are nicely composed in the space.

I would it be possible to order a the actor who portrayed the Defunct Detective banner?From the show?I would like it to say:the actor who portrayed the Defunct Detective&"Josie chippy" Sutton fan, with the "Josie chippy" text underneath.My fave colors arre blue&green as far as gradient is concerned.

Nicky what are you talking about?Your banners,especially the first one, look great.I only have Elements 4.0 and there is not much you can do woth that program but it works.I´m getting the hang of it.Don´t worry about fancy Photoshop 9.0 an such...

Nicky, I just thought of the secret to gorgeous banners:Sharpen Tool, it is the BOMB! If you sharpen and use cratch removal tools and the qick fixer you will have gorgeous banners.
