I can never figure out how when someone like him becomes so successful with many things going on simulatneously---how it doesn't affect the quality. Sometimes you see that with someone who has his hands in several pots and then you begin to notice the show you initially liked go downhill in writing/storylines, etc...

That's true Naj. The only thing I can think of is that he must have some equally great people working under him. The producers/directors/writers of these shows and movies are truly amazing and very talented. JB must have a knack for spotting talent. He has certainly discovered some great actors (CSI cast, Without a Trace cast, Kathryn, Keira Knightly, etc).
