Well, the EMMY nomination ballots went out today according to TVGuide.com. This left me wondering what chance CC has at getting some nominations. I think it would be a real shame if the show doesn't get nominated. The same goes for Kathryn. TVGuide.com has announced their 4th Annual Dream EMMY picks. They didn't pick Cold Case or Kathryn (much to my dismay), but then again it's just what they would want. Thanks for posting this, TVFan. I was wondering when the ballots went out.
The Emmys are even more backward than the Grammys; the same handful get numbinated year after year. I'd be amazed if CC got anything for its first season, but we can always hope.

I hope Cold Case gets at least one nomination. it really deserves it. *am i being biased?* i've heard a lot of great reviews, like its the best new drama and stuff like that. and the tv guide has definitely been wrong in its predictions before. *example* when they predicted the survivor winner, they said amber had like a 1 in 50 chance in winning, and well... we all know how that went.  |

Blankregus - It's sad but true isn't it? I hate that "popular" talent gets rewarded over real talent. It's such a shame when quality shows don't get recognized for their incredible work. Of course, there are other lesser known awards out there (The Peabody's, etc), but they don't seem to hold the same clout to the audience. Oh well, we know the truth - CC is one of the best. ;D

According to the official EMMY web site, the nominations will be announced July 15th in the morning. I'm not holding my breath for CC to get any, though. The EMMY Awards air September 19th. Here's a link to the official site: www.emmys.org/ |
