I just saw the movie as well, and I really liked it. I thought that Kathryn's character was Lilly-ish, but definitely different from Lilly. I'm going to go ahead and leave some spoiler space...

I really had no idea who the killer was until the very end. I'm a big fan of Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None (aka Ten Little Indians), so this movie was right up my alley. I wasn't expecting Kathryn to have such a large role, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that she had the largest role in the film. Plus, there was the added bonus of the fact that she saved the day! I loved the scenes underwater at the end when she held her breath longer than the killer, and then shot him above the water! Really cool stuff. I thought that the watches were creepy, and Sara's trick with setting the clock back and putting the powder on the clock was really cool.

Overall, I really enjoyed this movie. It kept me on the edge of my seat, and it kept me guessing. Kathryn did a great job!

I did happen to find out it was playing here closer than I originally thought at a drive in. I'm going to have to wait for the dvd but I know this is something I would like. I don't gravitate to the blockbuster movies. I never have.

I just wanted to post this info with a link for authenticity. I had heard somewhere that Mindhunters would be released on a dvd soon, but I was unaware of the date. So, I checked the official movie site (the link below, you can find the date at the bottom left section of the page), and it verified the release date: September 20. That site said that a television series will be created about this movie in 2006. This has got me interested, and I tried to do a google search on this topic. Wow, this sounds cool that they are developing a series based on the movie. I hadn't heard of that yet but I did some digging and came up with two articles which talk a bit about the series. As this series is in the planning stages apparently, there isn't too much out there in the way of info but I hope these help Byrdman. And thanks for the heads-up! Dear Naj, Hey, girl! So good to hear back from you on this. I am gld that you are interested in this genre. Trust me, you will be on the edge of your seat until the very end, girl! I'm not so sure about KM being on this new series. Yours is an inventive idea, and time will tell whether it is correct or not. However, I am just waiting to see how events develop. At the moment, I cannot see KM leaving Cold Case (it is a top ten Nielsen's show. I could be wrong, but to let her go would pretty much be the end of the show, I think), especially for a brand-new and unproven series. However, you never know how things like this can change on a dime from year to year. Like I said, great idea on your part, Naj. I will hold judgement myself for now. I hope she stays on CC!! I'd rather her be on CC than on Mindhunters. I agree w/ byrdman, i don't think Cold Case would last very long of KM left. Also, in a couple interviews, she mentioned something about when joining a show, you need to be committed for 10 years...or maybe it was 5...lol. I don't remmeber.

Plus, I do not think it will be too much (at least hopefully). I really hope it does well in dvd sales, it was indeed a great movie. Also, I know it was released in Europe at different periods. The movie was made in Amsterdam in 2002, and it was released in Europe over the corresponding years. I think you would have to go to the European records, but I am not sure where or even if those are kept anyplace accessible. I wish I could provide some help here. Sorry, girl.
