I don't see anymore Kathryn Pictures, so she's back home now? Sorry to ask this again I'll shut up now I guess once the film has premiered it's time to get back to the day job. Which is good news for us because it means filming the end of S4 of Cold Case. Though hopefully once people get back from Utah more pics will appear.

From what I've read, the movie is due to be released in August. Here. SUNDANCE, ST. LOUIS STYLE: This year's St. Louis Mardi Gras grand marshal, LA Times reporter and author J.R. Moehringer, was the talk of the Sundance Film Festival on Saturday night. The movie "Resurrecting the Champ," taken from a story Moehringer wrote for the Times, debuted to much attention. The stars, Josh Hartnett, Alan Alda and Teri Hatcher, as well as director Rod Lurie, wanted to know how Moehringer felt about the adaptation of his story to the big screen. Moehringer, author of the New York Times best-seller, "The Tender Bar," is headlining the Mardi Gras parade because of his connection to St. Louis — his cousin and a character in the book is KTRS' McGraw Milhaven — and because this year's festival theme is literature. (Some wags are calling it books and breasts — sort of). Milhaven worked his mug into the movie as an extra but wasn't at Sundance because of an earlier commitment to be a groomsman at John Carney's wedding (more about that later). Early buzz on the film, which is due to be released in August, is good, with the Hollywood Reporter calling it "a sobering and uplifting tale."And some more on the movie here. 'Resurrecting The Champ' a knock-out
By KEVIN WILLIAMSON -- Calgary Sun PARK CITY, Utah — Josh Hartnett’s secret to staying thin is simple.
“If the movie’s good, I’m happy. If it’s terrible, I run away,” says the 28-year-old.
And as anyone who has seen Pearl Harbor, Wicker Park or The Black Dahlia knows, he’s done a lot of running.
However, with his latest Sundance offering, Resurrecting The Champ, he has cause to stand still.
For one, the drama, about a sports reporter who discovers a former boxing champion living on the streets, is very good — smart, emotional and finely-attuned.
Moreover, so is Hartnett, despite being required to hold his own against acting dynamo Samuel L. Jackson.
The film, which will be released later this year, was directed by critic-turned-director Rod Lurie and shot last summer in Calgary, which doubles for Denver.
Hartnett likely still needs one or two more compelling performances — and films — under his belt before he’s taken seriously, but the robust Champ puts him squarely in the ring.
As he told the crowd at the film’s premiere, the movie allowed him for the first time to play more than “kid-like people” with Peter Pan complexes.
Instead, in Champ, he is cast as a faltering, flawed journalist and newly-separated father of a six-year-old son.

Good News!! According to comingsoon.net, Kathryn's movie is set to debut on August 3rd of this year!!! Good news indeed but it seems an awfully long way off for a film which I guess is finished. IMDb has it down as to be released in Holland at the end of August 2007. Edited to clarify.

How does an August 2007 release date fit in with Cold Case filming? Are they filming CC by then? If so it may inhibit KM's attending launch events.

Most of the procedurals/dramas go back to work in July, so ... it's likely work on S5 of CC will have begun and/or be close to when this film opens. Since KM managed to get to Sundance in the MIDDLE of this season's filming schedule, I'm sure she'll be where she needs to be for any premiere, etc. (@lii - I would definitely bet on a S5 of CC. )
