LOL! You guys crack me up! I'm teaching ebonics to some of my coworkers at work! LOL!
Anyhoo...
I watched the Scott/Jo scene at the gym several times and noticed that Scott looked at her like he wasn't expecting her to be so "in the face." And since he didn't bad-mouth her to Vera, I'm assuming he liked what he saw.
I can't wait to see how things go between Lily/Jo. I'd love to have someone scoff at them together... kind of like two women together wouldn't know anything-- and then POW, have them show off their investigative skills, lol....
the one who's name we shall not say's only filmed 5 episodes thus far. I'm hoping more's on the way.

About those nose flares... those weren't the OBVIOUS ones, Sonny. I love when she does it when she's crying. And boy, can she cry. Sometimes I want to slap the tears off her face, though! LOL! She gets to me when she softens up.
I caught a slight nose flare when she put up the Cold Case files box at the end. I was waiting for her to flare them numerous times, but she didn't. I swear she reads her message board and knows what we talk about. She's not doing it on purpose! LOL!

Getting back to you as promised. :smile69: First I gotta say I really didn't notice any nose flares. I wasn't really looking for them though--I was too caught up trying to match the dialogue to the images (my comp is slightly, uhh, video-challenged : . I'll be looking for them when I watch the show on TV though. Secondly, I looked real hard at the scene where Lilly greets "Josie chippy", and it never seemed to me like she was "sizing her up". Maybe because it was all slow motion I couldn't catch it (once again, the video-challenged part). Looked more like a double-take "snap out of it" kinda thing, as Sonny mentioned. She also made a big point of looking at Vera as she shook "Josie chippy"'s hand, as if to say "come on, you guys! Quit acting like kids, greet her nicely already". Well, sjb fans--I liked "Josie chippy". In spite of all I ranted at the beginning, I've warmed up to her. She seems pretty endearing so far, very realistic in her newbie ways. How could I NOT sympathize? Hope she'll make good chums with Lil. My girl needs someone to talk to.

She did snap out of it. But she did look her up and down before she snapped out of it. I loved that look! LOL!
Am I wrong to call KM cute? She does cute things! LOL!
And my the one who's name we shall not say cute moment was when "Josie chippy" and Jeffries moved slowly toward the teacher, kind of crowded him, and put her hands on the table, then looked up at Jeffries like she could taste a confession on her tongue.
That "look" was cute.
And by sizing her up... I think she did before she snapped out of it. But we all perceive things differently. And she most certainly looked at Vera as to show him that he was being childish. Again, another cute moment! LOL!

I think calling Kathryn cute is very appropriate. She has a very cute way about her. I also thought it was a sizing up thing, but probably because she had heard the stories. I doubt Lilly pays much attention to gossip anyway.

Well, just watched the ep. About "Josie chippy", I must say she's still indifferent to me, but the one who's name we shall not say did a great job. :smile39: I think she's gonna have hard times with Vera (or vice-versa?). For now, Lilly has nothing to worry about her, but..who know? Maybe Vera's right. I didn't see the nose flare and I'm getting curious to see that.

I do like the way they introduced her though. I think Vera would be a safe bet. He's so funny and a big gossip too. Let's face it he's got the fun lines and the most likely to trash talk of the bunch.
what was odd was that Lilly didn't look surprised when "Josie chippy" showed up with Scotty. I guess the guys told her off screen? She didn't even flinch.

I would imagine they were all informed in kinda pre-episode one time as it's the first thing the guys were talking about. I wonder how long that episode took place after The woods?? It can't be too long if George was in the paper
