Calafornia is having this again? Wow. Seems like each part of the country is getting hit with something the same each year. Thanks LII2. Sounds like CC got off lightly.

There's also a mention on Entertainment Tonight tonight (10/23). I didn't see it (my mom told me about it), so I don't know how extensive it is.

I'm glad CC was spared. I've lived in So Cal all my life, and this is the absolute worst set of fires we've ever had. Period. We are used to fire season, but this is like the perfect storm of fire seasons - too hot, too windy, too dry. It's unreal. I have a co-worker who received evacuation orders today (Tuesday) as she lives in the path of one of the fires currently burning in San Diego County. So, she's got a couple of suitcases in her car, her cat and her important papers and is now just waiting to see whether she will have a house left. Pray for everyone to remain safe - Hollywood and non-Hollywood alike.

I actually feel bad for any show that is having to film outside and/or not in the confines of a building where the air that is breathed can be regulated. It is just a bear to go outside right now. But thankfully, the weather has finally started to turn in our favor (cooler, no wind), and some folks are getting to return to their homes (including my co-worker, who thankfully did not lose her house yesterday). Here's hoping it stays this way.

As much as the fires are devastating and i feel for the people who lost their homes but why must the attention that Cold case haven't gotten in 5 years must be this. Its like people only pay attention if something bad happens to it, her/him or whatever.

There seems to be far more coverage of the show - especially given that it's hitting its 100th episode. CC's press is never at the level of other shows (which is perhaps unfair), but compared to last year (where press mentions seemed to be almost non-existent), I actually don't find this type of mention one that is a result of only a bad event happening and of which happens to touch CC.
