I like the picture of Lily in the police car though.
{not sure if they mean season 1 has wrapped up or what....}
Cold Case
This series has finished
From the executive producers of Without a Trace and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, comes the compelling drama, Cold Case.
Headstrong and resourceful, Detective Lilly Rush (Kathryn Morris) works on "cold cases" for the Philadelphia Police Department, re-opening dormant, unsolved homicides that occurred years or even decades ago.
Rush sometimes seeks advice from her mentor, Lieutenant Tom Stillman (John Finn). Also on the team is Detective Ronnie Vera (Jeremy Ratchford), a tough expert at getting confessions. Rush sees her new assignment as a turning point in her career and she makes it her business to ensure that no victim is ever forgotten.
"It was important to me to reflect the real police work these detectives do and the real emotional investment they place in their jobs, Morris tells the Philadelphia Inquirer.
"They don't just punch in. They really invest their lives and their feelings in the closure of these cases, and in doing right by the families and by the victims."
Morris is also proud of the way her character is portrayed as a 'real' woman - right down to her hairstyle, or lack of one.
"We purposely keep my hair not so coiffed so it works for this unstudied woman who is too busy solving cold cases to run to the salon," Morris explains. "She's a woman who eats real food and doesn't have a $500 hair-colour job. Sometimes her roots are showing and sometimes her outfit isn't completely together."
With her uncanny knack for eliciting confessions from the most recalcitrant witnesses, Rush is always determined to put another cold case to rest.
