Yeah I just watched Maternal Instincts too... It's a great scene and Lilly has tears in her eyes by the end of it.

Fly Away. The part that begins "did your mother ever forget to feed you?"
Saving Patrick Bubley. When Maeve is yelling at her and Lilly turns away, blinking. She doesn't say anything but you can tell some sort of metamorphis is going on.
Gleen. The whole conversation that starts "I'm just the kind of girl to pi$$ you off."
Hey, looks like I covered 3 different aspects of Lilly. She is such a wonderfully layered character.!

I like how Lilly told John in " One night" the story about her trying to ride her bike. Kathryn did such a good job with this one.
Lilly with George " The woods" where one moment she's crying and one second later she's raising her voice at him.

Saving Patrick Bubley, when she's a rookie and telling to the family that Vaugh is dead, and then when they hug with little Patrick was deffinately the best ever. (Or maybe it's just the kid what makes the scene so touching...)
And blow up with Sean in Maternal Instincts, interrogation with asshole Henry in Hitchhiker and scene with Bruce in Uselesscats when she realises he never slept with her, were also good.
I dono... There's a lot of short scenes, especially in season one, where Kathryn's acting was the reason I ever kept watching the show. Like her face-expressions and the way she made her comments...
