I agree, i like the way her hair is, besides i don't think its that bad and she always will look good with whatever. As for the hair colour it should remain the same...i love the way she has her hair. but i also agree, it would be nice to see her hair down more ofter.  |

Well according to the new article out over in the Cold Case Article forum, Lilly wants her hair down (according to KM). ArticleSo maybe they will alllow her to have it down more! :smile10: |

Good evening everyone, Hello, it's the Byrdman coming at you this evening. I hope that everyone is doing well, and that you are all rocking and rolling today. I just wanted to voice my opinion on this. I went with "No. It's her trademark." I am aware that KM wants to change it, and she might be allowed to this season. With time I'm sure that I would accept it, everybody changes at one point or another. However, I have also heard KM say that her hair is a way to show a working woman's life. Granted, hair is just a part of a girl's life. But she is a hard working girl, and she does not have time to get all dolled up every day, and she also said that she relates to that type of woman more on a personal level. I don't know, I'm not a girl, and I'm really unqualified to give an opinion here. However, she is a beautiful girl, and her hairstyle is sort of her own, you know? I just like it, just my thoughts. Well we are sure to find out next Sunday how different her hair is from last season. i mean the pics we've seen so far show that her layers are obviously longer and she no longer has dark roots, but as for if she wears it in a wider variety of styles, who knows??? I shall look forward to following Lilly's hairstyle again this season though!!! As I'm sure others will too!! ;D

I hope she doesn't change it much! I love her hair but I think she makes a real statement with it the way it is. Sometimes I feel a little resentful toward KM for wanting to steer Lilly away from her original Lilly road, making her change her hair and get hot romances... grr...
But, really, it's HER character and she's done an awesome job with her so far, so I guess I have to trust her. Suck it up and get on with my life. LOL.

I agree DF Kathryn has done an awesome job so far and I think will continue to do so. I guess Kathryn thinks that because it allows herself as an actress to explore different emotions and look different more of the time. When you play a character for so many years I suppose it's nice to have a little change just like a person would in reality I guess. As for the hair she's probably sick of all the comments and slagging off she gets about, where people don't seem to be able to separate her from Lilly. The amount of stuff I've read about Kathryn's messy hair!! Hello, it's Lilly's hair!!! And I don't blame Kathryn for wanting a hot romance. That's true!!! Wouldn't it be terrible and ironic though if Lilly's new fling were a totally awful guy? The writers would do it, too; a sort of mean trick to get even with us for telling them what to do. LOL. LOL. :smile65:
I have to admit, I didn't mind new cop guy last year (forgot his name... Mark something) for Lilly's new snog--until I heard him. He was so snooty! Of course he was just doing his job, but I'd be really disappointed at the writers if they made Lilly go off-character enough to fall for a guy like that. His looks were perfect though. *Sighs*

James Hogan should never be with Lilly! He's an interesting character, but it would be giving out a really weird message to all the psychos out there... something like, if you persecute the girl enough, no matter how out of your league she is, she'll eventually fall prey to your charms. Go for it!
A big no-no. They shouldn't even be friends. They can talk but you gotta be real careful with that friendship/business relationship thing. I'm not sure but I don't think it's ethical... might not even be legal. James is just confusing things. There's a name for this syndrome, a sort of "fall in love with your savior" thing (therapists have it too with their patients), but I can't remember what it's called.

I think that Lilly is too close to James in the way that disasterfreak stated. It would be too therapist/patient for me. I think the problem with Mark from Lovers' Lane is similar. Plus, he'd always have that idea in his head that she was the same as his first love. Just too weird. I'd love to see someone new come into Lil's life. Someone unexpected who is just perfect for her. No more jerks! Just a nice guy. Regarding Kathryn and her statements about Lilly's hair: I agree with sonny's assessment. I bet Kathryn is so sick of hearing about the hair. It must be frustrating to work so hard on a project, poor your heart into it, and then have most of the questions focus on something as superficial as the character's hair. I would be pretty annoyed.  It's doubley annoying when you realize that the same thing would not happen if the character were male. There always seems to be more focus on females' appearances than males'. Anyway, that's my take on her comments. |
